Very romantic and chill atmosphere. I came on a solo date and the service was amazing. The sushi is hand crafted and so very good. The special soy sauce was a highlight! I had chrysanthemum water saki and it was DIVINE. Treat yourself and you will not be disappointed.
Staff was friendly and attentive to our visit. The only note I would make is for the lobster ramen, which contained squid ink noodles. May I suggest you note that on the menu description as I would not have ordered. The pork belly was delicious!
Yes -- it is expensive -- but Bonsai was truly a special meal for our group tonight! There are plenty of cheap sushi options in town, and I love those, too -- but the complexity and quality of the rolls we enjoyed at Bonsai is unmatched. The pork belly was indulgent and delicious, and the desserts we tried were lovely. We would love to come back for an omakase experience sometime!
