Food wasn't bad just didn't have a lot of selections on the lunch menu, but what we did order was cool
It was great! Catch of the day and soup of the day were both great! Thanks for great food and great service!
We were expecting good tasting food but it did not meet our expectations. The mashed potatoes tasted like box food, Brussels sprouts was overly dry, the fish was under seasoned but still salty...the one thing I enjoyed was the prime rib The dessert galore that was advertised...well, let's just say we did not see that. Some cheese cakes, cookies, and over baked bread pudding, peach cobbler (could has been the warmers were too high) So, my family did not enjoy the meal! Also, the wait staff were hard to come by. I had to ask for a drink 3 times before I got some service. They did add on a 20% surcharge so I guess they would get a good tip with or without good service
We visited SALT for the Christmas buffet this year and unfortunately it was a disappointment compared to our wonderful experience two years ago. The price was $65 per adult, the same for our 13-year-old, $20 for our 3-year-old, plus a $43 service charge — so we came in expecting a high-quality holiday meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is still very nice and the desserts were delicious, but the rest of the meal fell short. The prime rib was completely overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor, which was especially disappointing since it's usually the highlight of a Christmas buffet. The sides were just okay, nothing memorable. Our server also never refilled our drinks until I finally asked, which added to the overall letdown. We had such an amazing Christmas dinner here the year before last — truly a 10/10 experience — so we were really hoping for another fantastic holiday meal. Unfortunately, this year didn't live up to the standard we know SALT is capable of.
Nothing like what they promised not live entertainment very empty the food was ok the place is just overrated
The restaurant was quiet and low key modern. Food was presented nicely and the waitress seemed very upbeat and helpful. I had been there years ago and decor has changed since then minus an ocean view. It is simple and appropriate for a beach side hotel. However, out of three starter dishes my family and I ordered, one was served on an apparently used, dirty plate. I was eating the salad and tasted what hadn't been listed in the ingredient description. It was cold, sour and the texture was off-putting. So, when I carefully lifted my food to the side to see what exactly I had chewed into that was concealed underneath it, I completely lost my appetite. The plate had some kind of multi color/multi ingredient puree sauce and a shoveled about heap with coarsely ground consistency, (imagine what might be left behind when meat with couscous, ground veg, red sauce and potatoes are served) the apparent leftovers and gravy from (I guess?) a previous diner that clearly had fork and spoon scoops taken out of it and smeared around the plate under my salad. Mind you, the ingredients of my salad were simple and straight forward (candied toasted nuts, white beans, feta, red onions, delicate greens, hummus, etc.) with a vinaigrette sauce in a small container on the side of the plate which I was dipping into, instead of pouring over my food. Because I was treating my parents to what had been intended as a wonderful Christmas meal together, I stopped eating quietly, inspected their food without telling them anything was amiss (to be sure it was edible) and let them continue enjoying their appetizers. When they noticed I wasn't eating my own, they declined to order their main meals and we went somewhere else to finish the evening. I was not trying to make a scene or ruin the dinner for my parents, so did not complain, but what was on my plate under the food was absolutely repulsive. Had I not lifted it up, I would not have seen the previously "eaten from" meal.
I recently dined at Salt and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. I began with the cow soup paired with focaccia bread, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. For an appetizer, I ordered the lamb lollipops, which were absolutely outstanding the pomegranate glaze was perfectly balanced and elevated the dish beautifully. For my entrée, I chose the capesante, and it did not disappoint. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the creamy Alfredo sauce was indulgent without being overwhelming. Portions were very generous, and I even had leftovers to enjoy later. Our server, Kylie, truly enhanced the evening. She was attentive, pleasant, and entertaining, and her wine recommendations were spot-on and thoughtfully selected. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience, and I will absolutely be returning for another dinner. Highly recommend.
Hotel restaurants aren't usually good, but all the positive reviews were reason to try Salt. Not a mistake; as all five of us were pleasantly surprised. Great food and a nice atmosphere; efficient service. Lollipop lamb chops were fantastic and the crab cakes were just like Maryland cakes!! Chief made the crab cakes sandwiches per directions (not deep fried but just like appetizers). Burgers were also very good. A very nice dining experience!!
Kevin was amazing! More vegetarian options would be great. Maybe add a plant based burger. I ended up having to get a gyro with only romaine and tomatoes 😢, but Kevin made the visit wonderful! We come there about 4 times a year and always look forward to eating at salt. The entire staff is top notch!
Excellent dining experience. Great staff and service. The bar and bar could use a bit of an upgrade. Felt like a hotel bar not like a bar inside of a restaurant that happened to be in a hotel. .

I didn't realize this restaurant is in the hotel, but it was very good and the booths are beautiful. We really enjoyed the drink drinks and food.

Worth noting that this is a hotel restaurant close to foot traffic from lobby to pool and other hotel amenities We sat at a table further into the restaurant space to be in a more quiet, private space. Many choices for seating since we dined at 4:30. The restaurant is beautiful as pictured with high ceilings and wood beams. Service was attentive.
Service and food were excellent Noise level is loud, difficult to have romantic date night due to restaurant being in open area of hotel. I wish they could close it off, it would be Five Star then
