I'm local and often dine here. And, according to my granddaughter from Austin TX, it's "tradition" whenever she comes to visit. Our server, though busy, was very good, taking time to insure any questions were answered to our satisfaction. The food, as always, was excellent.
Grouper Piccata and the blue cheese wedge is always a great choice. Complimentary praline basket is a nice touch when celebrating a birthday. Disappointed though that there are no vegetarian choices for your vegetarian guests. Need to put a pasta dish on the menu.
The selection was amazing & the favors were all on point! Be ready to pay for a great meal. I wish I had an option like this in my hometown.
We sat in the overflow room which had harsh overhead lighting. Could be improved if the lighting was changed. Otherwise, it was very nice and we enjoyed our food and service very much.
Only our second time to dine here, but it just did not disappoint. The food, the service the feel good atmosphere sitting there looking at the water. Everything was superb appreciate all the kindness as we celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary.
Excellent!!! The house made chips were stacked high - plenty to share for 6 people. Fresh oysters - so clean and delicious and the fried lobster tails were perfectly coated and cooked to perfection. We paired the meal with a bottle of champagne and loved every minute of the scenery. We will be going back and highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.
I liked it that you could make reservations. It was a very good experience other than it was a little too loud for me. But it was very busy so that is understandable.
Could be so much more Romantic if they could do something to quite the noise. Extremely loud. I wish we had sat outside, but I thought it would be to hot. Everything else was fantastic! Would love to see blackened grouper and Mahi mahi on the menu! Other than that super selection.
Amazing food. The lobster fingers were amazing. Highly recommend. Sit on the patio for a great view and nice breeze
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. We absolutely love The Grand Marlin

One of my Top 5 favorite restaurants of all time. Love, love, love this place. It NEVER disappoints.
Met friends there for lunch. My wife and I split an appetizer of 6 BBQ oysters and we both had the gumbo and french bread. Oysters were small but tasty. Gumbo was chock full of shrimp, etc and really good. I also had a glass of Craggy Range Sauv Blanc which was perfect. Nice parking area and an elevator up to the restaurant. We ate inside and had great views of the water. Very classy place. Would like to go back for dinner and eat outdoors sometime. Very nice wine list. Our friends enjoyed their fried shrimp and Scottish salmon.
Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious as always. Thank you for making our time together lovely. Very nice evening with friends and family.
The food was great, and the service was top-notch. The salmon and grouper dishes were fantastic, as well as the lobster tails. The desserts were exceptional, especially the butter cake and praline basket. We will definitely be returning.
We had an excellent dining experience at the Grand Marlin. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The view is awesome also. Highly recommend the Grand Marlin for a fine dining experience!
