The Grand Marlin of Pensacola Beach

We dined in the main room indoors, very loud, was hard to hold a conversation. The main course was served 5 minutes after appetizers and we were very rushed. We also had no room to even fit the main courses dishes on the table when they came. After a while we decided on dessert then everything seemed to slow down. Waited a while for the check. Food was fantastic but experience was not the great considering the price point.

We had an amazing lunch at The Grand Marlin. The tuna dip appetizer and field greens salad were a hit from the start. The chef's special entree, shrimp pesto pasta, was delicious. Our server, Shelby, was attentive and accommodating. Don't miss the gift shop too!

We are here visiting and I wanted a fine dining experience. The bartender was okay, but my dirty martini tastes like a salt lick by the time I got to the bottom of it. Then we sat to eat and the experience got much worse. The food was okay, but not worth the exorbitant cost. We usually don't care about prices, but I don't think it was worth it. Strangely, the service was spotty at best. There were several support staff there standing around doing nothing. The server, while very pleasant, “forgot” to add our sides, and we told him to forget them as we were full. Well wouldn't you know it, they put our sides on the bill anyway. We couldn't wait to get out of there....

The reservation was for 8 people outside for the first round table on patio. Got there ask if we had reservation, yes SheilaHawkins, 8 people round table. Got there the only people there were sitting at the round table that I had reserved. Very disappointed as we had our families in from Japan and Austin Texas and I had made the reservation in advance specifically for that table. As I said overall was great as usual our waitress was great. Just disappointed did not get table requested.

Wonderful experience- we celebrated our anniversary and everyone at the GM took such good care of us. <3

Grouper piccata was excellent. Great meal. Highly recommend getting a reservation. Popular place, especially on the weekend.

The bbq baked oysters, the grilled tuna , fish & grits amazing and the dessert a unique butter cake with rum, pineapple and piña colada flavor and vanilla ice cream. Looking at the bay ! Great service

my husband and i love the grand marlin! the food is always delicious, the view is beautiful and the service is excellent!

I got in at 8:27 and got ignored the whole night. Ended up getting our food at 10pm. 1 refill the whole night. Food was ok. Ended up getting it boxed because of how late it was and we had to go home spent 130 for a bad date night. She never checked up on us and people that say way after us got the same food as we did before us. Very disappointing. Wish I didn’t go here

Our group of 12 ladies had one of our best group brunches yesterday. All of our dishes were delicious and our waiter Danny was fabulous! Service was amazing. And not only did he know what we needed before we asked, he had a great personality and made our meal extra fun! Next time we go we are asking for Danny!

I'm local and often dine here. And, according to my granddaughter from Austin TX, it's "tradition" whenever she comes to visit. Our server, though busy, was very good, taking time to insure any questions were answered to our satisfaction. The food, as always, was excellent.

Grouper Piccata and the blue cheese wedge is always a great choice. Complimentary praline basket is a nice touch when celebrating a birthday. Disappointed though that there are no vegetarian choices for your vegetarian guests. Need to put a pasta dish on the menu.

The selection was amazing & the favors were all on point! Be ready to pay for a great meal. I wish I had an option like this in my hometown.

We sat in the overflow room which had harsh overhead lighting. Could be improved if the lighting was changed. Otherwise, it was very nice and we enjoyed our food and service very much.

Only our second time to dine here, but it just did not disappoint. The food, the service the feel good atmosphere sitting there looking at the water. Everything was superb appreciate all the kindness as we celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary.
