Huge portion sizes, Fried clams are to die for, I recommend sitting down so you get the most snacks, Because when they put it to go, you get way less. Other than that this place is awesome. Bring cash because they are cash only.

Oh please the best seafood in FloridaSimple Small, so friendly. We have had so kuvh food from them over the years & not one thing has been bad. It really is a great spot but careful if you blink you will pass it.More for me...kidding
We met Florida West Coast friends at Essex Seafood for lunch. It was chosen because the restaurant was about half way from both of our locations. ES2 is a popular seafood restaurant far from both Florida coasts. We went for lunch. Most tables were taken but we were seated quickly. The staff were friendly, however found the food uninspiring and not worth driving over an hour for. As a former East coast New Englander I have had great whole belly clam plates. The ES2 platter was disappointing. The clams were not fresh and tasteless. My wife's grilled fish sandwich was good but we doubt that it was fresh.
This place is so good I had to come back with a friend. The place is not fancy, their food does all the talking. The big full belly clams of the best. Reminds me of back home in New England. So so good. The girls here will take care of you from the minute you come in, to the time you leave. So friendly and fast. The plates may came out full but when you leave, there is nothing on them. If you're in the neighborhood, a must stop. Just make sure you have CASH... no credit here, only great food and seafood.

Excellent seafood shack (it's a trailer/mobile home type building) but the food is great, drove in the other day and was greeted in the parking lot that they had propane/fuel problems in the kitchen.Man I drove a lot of miles to eat here, so I went to Blackbeards/Drifters. They were closed too, about to resurface the parking lot, not a good day to eat out!

You couldn't ask for a better experience.Parking: Only trouble finding parking is due to how many people are there. If that doesn't say something about how good it is...Kid-friendliness: They love them youngins too! Bring the whole family.
