They have the best gourmet desserts you will find in Miami. Their bakery is also pretty good and it's coffee. If you want to surprise a friend or family member the ivory or the 3 chocolate mouse cake are their top best! The ladies that assist you are always kind and helpful.

I am saddened that I have to write this review. I have been a customer of Franck Monnier for over 10 years and wasn’t thrilled when he sold the shop. As it’s my understanding, L'Atelier Gourmet still supplies the shops with his amazing French pastries, so I have continued to shop there even though I haven’t been there in almost a year. They used to have the best almond croissant, a fabulous pear & almond tart and excellent macarons.Yesterday, we went by to pick up a tart for a lunch gathering and the man attending to us, who was not very friendly, reached into the refrigerated case and pulled the tart out with his hands directly touching it, didn’t even bother to put on a glove. I was appalled and simply walked out the door.After this experience I doubt I’ll return, at least not anytime soon. The smell when you walk through the door is completely off putting, like a panini press with burnt cheese that keeps being reused.Completely disappointed.

My first time here.. Great customer service here in bird road location.Great ham and cheese quiche , amazing coffee late and bread pudding. Variety of pastries and desserts. Beautiful cakes. I didn't try but they look like a good present to anyone. Mango and passion fruit jam looks interesting and lavender blueberry as well. Will try next time. Definitely will come back.

It was the worst service I have ever received. The lady at the shop ignored my request for an espresso. When I reminded her she went on her way to make sandwiches then when I reminded her for the 2nd time she tried to give me a cold espresso! She never apologized. I understand when a place is busy but there were only 4 people in the whole place.

Horrible experience, I arrived the didn’t even say hi. I waited, a few other customers came in and they attended they completely ignored me. They saw me a few times so there isn’t an excuse.
This place has lost its luster, what used to be a crowned jewel of pastries, is now a shop that serves sub par pastries. Ordered 2 almond croissants, 1 chocolate, 1 caramelized and 1 Portuguese egg tart and all were cold…by cold I don’t mean room temperature, cold as if they’ve been in the fridge. Also ordered a croque monsieur which was ice cold even after being warmed up in their oven. Tarts in the display were all cracked as if they’d been sitting in there a little too long, won’t be returning.

They make great pastries that all look so good. I bought six various cakes to have a taste, Tiramisu is my favorite and it’s even better than I had expected. But most of them were too sweet, and some cream tasted not so fresh. If you have sweet teeth then definitely try them.
