I had been wanting to come back to Ifra's and dine in with the family since last time we came here we had an okay experience.
Unfortunately, this time was very different. Ambiance is still good and the restaurant looks very clean and decor is simple but nice.
Service was bad.. only one person for the entire restaurant. When we arrived there were only 2 people dining but that changed quickly... within 20-30 minutes it was packed and only this one person to take orders, clean the tables, bring water and drinks, take the food out to the tables... etc, etc, etc. you get the picture. It was a bit chaotic.
Whe the food arrived... it arrived all together. Appetizers, soup, bread, main course. (everything at once). Mulligatawny soup was under seasoned as it was the malai chicken. Needed salt and needed flavor overall. Something you never think to say about Indian food. The lamb kadai we order it spicy and it was not even close to medium. The sauce also lacked a lot of flavor.
Overall a bad experience. Bad service and food needs a lot of attention. (IMHO)

This place is always amazing, food is always great and comes out pretty quickly. The staff are attentive and friendly. I come by almost every week just for the butter chicken and garlic naan. Highly recommend this place!!

This was so incredible after a long rehearsal!! Me and my friends were very hungry after a rehearsal nearby and we were seated, served, and satisfied before we even knew it! We had the lamb vindaloo which was the star in my opinion (get it very spicy for the best experience 👍👍)and the butter chicken was delicious! We also had roti on the side which was so fresh and paired well with everything and we finished off our meal with the gulab jamun which was something new to me that I will be trying again. Highly you recommend for indian food!! Thank you to Ifra's for a great night with great food and service!
