I enjoyed this place! According to my Iranian husband “it taste like home”
The food was great and had a truly persian flavor. I ordered the joojeh sultani yet the portion was small for the price. The hot tea ? was refreshing with the sugar cubes. However, the waiter wasn’t very friendly and when I mentioned this to the owner she said “I don’t care. He’s my son.” I feel this isn’t the proper way to address customer feedback. Even if he is the owner’s son, she should care about the service he is providing customers. Unsure I’ll return because of the service.
Average food, smaller portions, way pricier for the presentation and environment than Sheraz. Ordered rumi fries for 6 bucks because they looked different in the pictures. Came out as McCain shoestring frozen fries. Disgraceful. Not worth it. Going to sheraz for better quality, portions, ambiance, and prices.
I’m very disappointed, I paid $75 and got half my order and by the way very cold and very small portions, I called them back several times and they didn’t answer . Very bad service, I feel I was deceived and robbed
I paid $74.20 for this. Advertising is the worst. On website a big picture of all their food then when you receive it it’s super small. That hummus alone was $9. I ordered a spinach pie and never received it . Totally not worth the price way overpriced with small amount of food.
Rumi is an absolute dime in the palmetto bay/pinecrest area for authentic persian food. The service is incredible and the staff are so polite. 10/10
We were going back to our hometown and we were so tired. We stopped at this place and we were expecting something average but the food was great. I would recommend this to all Iranian and non-Iranian friends. It’s a good experience for those who want to see how the Iranian food taste like. The service may be a little bit slow but it totally worth it. We would come to this place next time we come to Miami.
Average food, terrible service! We waited more than an hour for our orders to be prepared (we were a group of five). After an hour they served all of our orders except one which was brought 20 minutes later and after others had finished their food. The server apologized several times for the delay. Then the owner came and blamed the staff for working slowly! She also mentioned that she has been owning a restaurant for more than 20 years! And the biggest surprise was that when we kindly mentioned to her that one of our crew had to wait while the others were eating, she replied that you could share you food with her! Even preparing our checks took about 15 minutes, because the owner wanted to double check everything and make sure she doesn’t loose any money.
Great tasty Mediterranean food …Love the taste and specially their lamb shank with vegetable rice …
Rumi Persian Grill, a small family owned restaurant that is big in flavor; a secret jewel cared by the family who owns it. Rumi is the best authentic Persian restaurant in all Miami. Even compared to NYC or Los Angeles Iranian food restaurants, Rumi Persian Grill is one of the best. Many restaurants lowered their quality these days, some are a mix, but not Rumi, they are consistent with quality, tradition, service, freshness and flavor.

Friendly staff and genial fellow patrons who are clearly regulars. Beautiful presentation of the food. I only ordered appetizers and they were tasty, but could have been a little bit more flavourful. Its expensive for what you get, but I would be interested in trying it for lunch if they still have the lunch special.
WOW......excellent find! Have driven by this place for years and finally decided to stop by and have dinner. I'm a huge fan of Persian food and this place is phenomenal. Had the Ghormeh Sabzi (Persian Stew), which was absolutely incredible. The place is family owned and is impeccably clean as well. If you're ever in the mood to try something different then a trip to Rumi Persian Grill is a must. They have a little bit of everything on their menu so you'll have plenty of amazing dishes to choose from. I'll definitely be back soon!
I love this restaurant! The dishes are authentic. Everything is made from scratch. Family run. The Service and Food are excellent!
The rack of lamb was delicious
Extra delicious. The house made hummus was light, fluffy & delicious. The falafel was crisp and nicely seasoned, served with tahini, hummus & a very nice side salad. The lamb chops were juice, the kababs excellent.Only down sides...no coffee and no cushiony chairs (they are very hard wood!).
