We never received our Naan bread, service was poor even though we were the only table. There was only one server who was taking care of our table and a multitude of pick up orders. And then the bug on my seat was too much! We will look for another Indian restaurant next time.

Great lunch, went with the suggested chef specials! Enjoyed the cashew curry and amazing pistachio coconut cheesecake.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Indian restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere set the tone for the evening. The décor strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Indian charm, making it a comfortable spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The food was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. To top it all off, the portions were generous and reasonably priced for the quality served. This restaurant delivers an authentic Indian dining experience that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommended for anyone craving flavorful, comforting, and expertly prepared Indian cuisine!

We visit often this place when we want authentic and good indian food, the manager is so nice, she knows her customers and I think this place is a local restaurant that drserves to be considered a gem in Pinecrest.
You know its good when you spot more indian families visiting.
Chicken korma and chicken xacuti are our favorite dishes, they serve the indian tea and homemade naan, just delicious.

Sometimes they are short staffed but the manager is so professional, she has been able to handle it, however, I hope they get to hire enough people to keep the quality in food and service.

This was our first time here and we will be back for sure!!! The food was amazing and we were able to try Indian dishes that we haven’t seen on a menu before. We had the shrimp mouille as appetizer, pistachio chicken/lamb special, white rice of course, and truffle cheese naan. I don’t like spicy but my husband does and they accommodate for that (even if you’re sharing!). AJ made sure we ordered the tastiest dishes and she was so sweet. So happy we finally came here!

Malai kofta is an old reliable - always good, rarely special - but the one we had here was special! Lots of cardamom, which isn’t something I’m used to in malai kofta but it was delicious. The mango lassi is solid - tastes very fresh. Enjoyed the appetizer platter; it has a different selection than I’m used to and even the classic standard - the samosa - was remarkably good; I’d say it’s probably the second best I’ve had in Miami, after, of course, Asia Grocery’s. The jamun was absolutely superb. That said, everything’s priced pretty high for the quantity of food given.

Overall - very good, especially for Miami, but a little pricey, so I’d highly recommend it for dates or other special occasions but maybe not for daily dining.

(Oh, also - adding this for algorithmic purposes, though it should pretty much be assumed for good Indian - excellent place for vegetarians. Extensive vegetarian menu, lots of high-quality options.)

Stopped by a bit before closing, server was really nice and helpful. I wasn’t too familiar with the menu and he provided recommendations. Food was great, and we were able to get some Jamun before leaving which was very delicious. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so.

Highly recommend the Gulab Jamun and the Malai Kofta. The Samosas are also some of the best in Miami-Dade.

Extremely frustrating experience. We drove 45 minutes to Ashoka Indian Restaurant based on the listed closing time of 10:30 PM, only to be turned away at 8:41 PM because they were “closed.” Completely unacceptable and misleading. Please fix your business hours on Maps.

I cant say enough about this place! If you ever went to Saffron, you wont be disappointed by Ashoka! They have kept the same
menu and recipes and it’s better than before! Service was amazing and the atmosphere is so quaint. Cant wait to be back! We live in North Florida & whenever we come down to MIA we hit up our favorite spots. This is always
one of them!

I usually don't give negative reviews, but the food was mediocre at the best. Lack of true Indian authenticity; bland flavoring.
