Friendly clean whole in the wall type. It's not fancy but when you smell the food you will know you're in the right place. It's like welcome to the Greek Islands street food edition. I get a super gyro, salad and fries to split. The tatziki does not over power with cucumbers (I don't like them).

Unassuming little spot with a drive-thru and a simple menu, but the gyro is a 10/10, perfectly seasoned, traditional Greek flavor. Don’t let the outside fool you, this is a hidden gem worth supporting over the big chains. Definitely stop in!

I've only been here once but the onion rings were really greasy. On the other hand this is one of the best gyros I've ever had! If you haven't tried it you are missing out! And they have a drive thru! Tzatziki sauce DELICIOUS!

This was my first time dining at Athenian’s Gyros & Chicken and it makes me wish I would’ve discovered it sooner!!! It is located off Park Blvd and is easy to pass by, so you have to look for the sign. They have been open since 1985 and I can definitely tell why!!! They have a nice variety of menu selections, have a drive through as well around the back of the restaurant which is nice!! It is counter order and either takeout or sit down inside. They have a little area that has some souvenir items for sale on the right when you enter the restaurant. Restaurant is very clean and kept in great shape with nice decor and pictures on the walls. Booth seating is nice by the windows too!! The food was prepared quickly which also was very nice!! They have been recognized for years for their foods taste as award winning!!! We ordered 2 of the #1 Gyros, Fries & Drink Combos during our visit. I found out that their tzatziki sauce is homemade in house from Greek yogurt which tastes absolutely amazing and fresh!!! I can’t wait to stop in again to enjoy more on their menu!!! This is definitely a mom & pop business that is a pleasure to support!!!

Fantastic little local spot. Prices are very affordable and you get a great amount of food. They don't skimp out on the gyro meat which is great. Fries where crispy and hot and the gyro tasted fresh with a fresh pita bread. Perfect for a quick lunch. Highly reccomend!

I’ve been going here for over 20 years and the food is always amazing. The staff is always friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. I’m from Pittsburgh & live in Tarpon. Gyros are found at many establishments in both towns but these are by far the BEST EVER!!
