I got the com tam thit nuong sadly they didn’t have the bi cha but I wanted an egg but the egg was an extra charge for $3. It was a bit pricey but not too bad to the point I wouldn’t come again. The atmosphere is relaxing and quite not a lot of people around the time I went. Service was good and cleanliness was good as well.

The bò nhúng dấm was ok. Beef was not fresh, except sauce was good. I was shocked when the order of clams came out. It only has little 4 clams costs $13 and they were over cooked. Hột vịt lộn xào me was bad.

I understand food costs, but in this case, it felt excessive. The main noodle bowls, on the other hand, were reasonably priced and quite tasty. While I enjoyed the meal, it’s not a place I’d go out of my way to visit again. A slight price adjustment—just $2–$3 off some of the smaller dishes—would make a big difference and bring better value to the experience.

Amazing Vietnamese Food & Friendly Atmosphere! I had a great experience . The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful — I especially recommend their pho and spring rolls, which were authentic and satisfying. I am from out of town, every time visit Tampa Bay, I would stop by Ben Thanh Restaurant with friends to support them. Today a server (boy)cursed at us for asking politely for a bigger table. I believe he is the related to the owner of the restaurant. Good Luck to your business!

The price is way too expensive when the surrounding areas sell the same items for half cheaper. I ordered bánh bèo for $8 - got 8 pieces and bánh bột lọc for $8 - got 8 very small pieces, both of these would cost $4 each at Le's baguette. Bánh bột lọc is not soft and chewy, it's rough and hard. They put pieces of Bánh phòng tôm in it but they are not crunchy, instead they are hard and chewy. The bò bía is stuffed with shredded carrot, all I tasted is carrot. Supposed to have eggs.
Also I ordered other food with sauce to go, and they put it in a loose foam container instead of a plastic container with lid, so the sauce spilled out right away.
Overall, I paid an arm and leg for below mediocre food. Never coming back.

Ben Thanh is a small quaint establishment. When walking in you are immediately greeted by a friendly member of staff. There are many different foods options available. The food also came out very quickly and was extremely delicious. The prices weren't bad either. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a great bowl of pho or wanting to try something new.
