Not greasy. The surprise was being served fish sauce as a condiment to the rice. A first for me. YUM!! Also tried (#27) BBQ pork Bánh Mì for only $5.99. No paté on this one, but still tastes great!And that they basically have everything you need right at the table. Tip: keep an eye out for the sliced garlic glass jar. Strong!! Good hot sauce, too. Will return!

Our new FAVORITE Vietnamese Restaurant! Our inaugural visit, with many more to come. The food and spices are spot on. The best egg rolls are truly the Best. I had the combination Pho in a stone bowl which keeps the soup hot till the last slurpped drop. Go! Thank me later :)

2024Feb. Ben Thanh made strong comeback. I hope more people will find them.Pho is one of the best in town. You can tell care went into the broth. Standard spring rolls are tasty and not filled with shredded iceberg lettuce. Classic mi vit tim is excellent . Perfectly cooked noodle. Plenty of greens. Duck was flavorful and cooked to the right level of tenderness. Their bo ne needs work though.It's not fast food or fast dining.Below is the rating that I drafted years ago before Ben Thanh closed down BUT forgot to post. Apparently Google automatically keeps drafts of reviews.I rated excellent for certain dishes.We go there almost once a week. They have very good food at very good prices. They have a couple of dishes that are not on the menu at other; bo la lop (seasoned beef wrapped in leaves) and bo bia (spicy springroll). Both are very good. My favs are springrolls (best in town), ca kho to (fish cooked clay pot), wonton & noodle, bun bo hue (Hue noodle) (very spicy unless indicated otherwise when ordering.The description given in Dave's review (May 2009) is still true.

By far one of the best egg rolls I've ever had! It's a nice comfy restaurant. Gives off a feel at home kinda vibe. Staff were great too. The food is also excellent. I ordered the pho with everyone except meatballs. My wife got the egg noodle duck soup and we also got Vietnamese egg rolls. The pho was hot, loaded in protein and plants! The broth was full of flavor. Noodles were cooked just right. The egg noodle duck soup was just as good but the broth to me didn't have as much flavor as it could have. The egg rolls were stuffed to the max. So much flavor to it! Overall this was a great restaurant. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely go back in the future.

Delivery Order: Lot of oil of top of broth. Unfortunately there was a small/short black hair in my soup. Also a lot of inedible bay leaf and seeds they didn't take out so I had to pick it out. Broth spilled out of the container during transit

I have not had such good pho in a long time! I can’t believe I’m just finding this now. The broth is very flavorful and full of spices and the meat is very tender and a good portion. The service was also fast and friendly. This will be our new go-to for Vietnamese food!
This place should have more reviews. I came over from tampa to try this place and it beats everything out the water. Fish sauce, quality, taste, portions etc was top tier. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was 7.5/10 they were slow at taking orders and giving is menus when they weren't busy. Otherwise everything was fine. There's probably 7 tables in there and dark lighting which I didnt like. Would recommend and come again otherwise

Very cute decorated for Christmas. Ordered to go. Asked for mint and extra sauces and was met by a lot of resistance. Spent an extra couple of minutes trying to convince the cashier there wasn’t certain sauces and enough for the order. Finally gave up. I ordered spring rolls and beef pho. Spring rolls sub par without flavor. Wish me luck on the pho. Definitely not worth 30$. Will not be back.
