The restaurant is a charming environment with a great variety of authentic Italian favorites made with homemade pasta. It's great to go to a restaurant that has the feel of family and great a great meal. They even offered us complementary limoncello after our meal.
I will say the service was great. It was a dinner reservation, so the server was a literal on the slower side, but not horrible very very nice though and accommodating as for the food it was mediocre. It wasn't worth the 50 minute drive I think in my opinion. The red sauce was on the blender side. The noodles were made in house, which was good. The veal Parmesan I have had way better. The espresso martini was very good The bread that was brought to the table was very fresh...
I love Da Sestos but this last visit was rough.. we waited 30 minutes before I had to let a server know we hadn't been helped. We had to repeat ourselves to the waitress bc she kept forgetting to bring things. We never received the bread after asking twice for it. Food 10/10 always still my favorite Italian spot. But the service was subpar. The new manager i believe was a woman who was very very nice but for as expensive of a restaurant this is the whole experience was...
