Disappointed,I use to love there cakes. I recently went in to pick up a cake which was a lot smaller than usual so I figured it was cheaper and all they had left. The cake ring out to almost $40 a huge jump from $27 and for a smaller cake at that.cake is slapped on with 90% whipp topping barely any cake. I would advise to go to other bakeries better quality and price. Ps only 3 ppl were able to eat the cake it was super small

We were visiting from California and was told that Pinellas Park was where to find the Asian community. On the way to a pho restaurant, we saw this market and immediately took a u-turn to go check it out. I would say this was comparable to west coast 99 Ranch Market. It’s huge, has all and everything you see in a west coast market. One thing that I came across and I didn’t noticed in west coast, were the different chip flavors from overseas! Lays chip brand had meat flavors like steak and braised pork! Thank you east coast market because now that I’m back in west coast, I’ve been going to each store and checking out their snack aisle. Each store has different variety of Lays from China and Thailand.

It's a decent Asian bakery. They never have pork buns in stock

This review is solely on Dan Tat (egg tart). First of all, they all looked like they were made in a popover tin, therefore they are not in the right shape. Crust was too dense and thick, custard tasted way too sweet. Wondering if they changed the pastry chef.

I ordered 100 dan tat (Hong Kong style egg tarts) from Formosa Bakery for my wedding day, and they did such a beautiful job making my special day even more special! I communicated with the owner Wendy, and she was professional and courteous. These Hong Kong style egg tarts are hands down the best I have ever tasted in my life! I have also tried their other style of egg/custard tart (I believe it was either French or Portuguese) and that was fantastic as well! I definitely recommend visiting Formosa Bakery, which is located inside MD Oriental, for delicious baked goods, pastries, and desserts!

?谢谢你 ?Thank you, Linda and Formosa Bakery, located inside MD Market! The 16" cake you created for us was beautiful and delicious! The bakery had it ready for us ahead of schedule, and one of your gentlemen even carried out to our car! Thank you again!

Best cake in Florida! Fluffy and not too sweet!

I discovered this bakery located inside this amazing Asian Food grocery store called MD Oriental Market. It's delightful in every way. I'm not a big sweets eater and definitely don't like things too sweet as we tend to do in the U.S. I always get a package of what they call Cream Puffs. I believe it's one of those deserts the French made while in Vietnam. Not very sweet at all. The custard part just explodes and melts in your mouth. I will be getting all Birthday cakes from them from now onI know it will be perfect.

This store has the freshest herbs, fruits and vegetables that far surpass those at Publix and much much cheaper. An item that I would buy at Publix might start going bad after a couple of days. That same item from MD Market lasts 3 -- 4 times longer at a much lower cost. Definitely recommend you check it out.

They have everything you could imagine. Loaded with Asian treats, fruits and veggies, candies, munchies, seafood and fish, meats, etc. I purchased some sushi, it was great.

I have been experimenting with Chinese, Thai and Indian cuisines for about two years now. MD Oriental Market makes my shopping far easier than trying to locate ingredients in smaller stores. Their variety of soy and other sauces is simply unsurpased and encourages constant experimentation. The availability of a large variety of fresh vegetables not normally found in Western supermarkets (like Chinese/Thai broccoli and Thai basil) is also great. They even have free gloves available as you enter during Covid times. Two thumbs up!
