Decided to stop here instead of Pipo’s which looked more like fast food. The waitress was super nice and made me feel at home. I ordered the vaca frita a a large beer. I would have easily feed 2 but since it was just me I still cleaned that plate off. Maybe a little on the pricey side since they added a few extra fees for rice and table service that really is not necessary and others have complained about. I’m guessing it’s a corporate maneuver but I think they might...

A staple in Tampa Bay for decades, La Teresita is outstanding Spanish/Cuban food. I've never ordered anything that disappointed me in 25 years. This location of the ones in Tampa are all standouts for delicious food.

I enjoyed the experience of eating there a few days ago
The food was very good as was the service.
However I had two problems.
The first was a surcharge added to the bill, only 3% but in my opinion unnecessary.
Also I'm elderly and walk with a cane and don't drive, so while we were waiting for a ride outside I once again had nowhere to sit while waiting. This seems to prevalent basically everywhere I go.
