“Wonderful casual family-owned sushi/hibachi restaurant in the heart of St Pete! We made a reservation through Google and our table for 10 was ready when we arrived. The owner and his son Khoi were so welcoming and attentive. We tried a huge variety of sushi, salads, seared tuna, and hibachi entrées. All were absolutely delicious with very generous portions and reasonable prices. Tons of gluten-free and vegetarian options and the ginger salad dressing was so good I brought home my leftovers! Highly recommend for carryout or dine in and look forward to returning again soon. Loved Mr. sushi!!!“

“My waitress and the ambiance really made this place spectacular! I absolutely love the indoor seating with an outdoor feel. The food was good, too. The Tao dumpling soup was so savory and rich, with plump dumplings - I kept wishing for and wanting more! But the flavor packed a punch and the vegetables were so fresh. So many great things on the menu, it makes you want to come back to try more.“

“We enjoyed our first meal here on a Saturday evening. We started with Bang Bang Shrimp which was delicious. Next came the Shrimp and Pork soup which was very good as well. For our entree, I had the Stir Fried Noodles with Chicken and my wife had the Chicken Stir Fry. Both were very good. We will definitely be back.“

“Stumbled on a gem in plain sight: Sab Café. You have my heart! The staff was so sweet with the best recommendations, I really couldn’t go wrong. The menu leans rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. Every dish was like home: pure comfort. The tom kha with chicken was 11/10, nothing short of extraordinary: silky coconut broth layered with lemongrass, sweetness, and savory depth. The oxtail pho was a showstopper: two generous bones, tender flank steak, and rice noodles, accompanied by a spice rack and all the right garnishes. My server’s excitement told me I’d chosen well. The crispy duck impressed with its thick, golden crust and tender meat, paired with jasmine rice and steamed vegetables. Even the wings—simple and crisp—spoke to care in the kitchen. Drinks shone too: The moon light saketini was so! good! And the Lady Apple Saketini struck a lovely balance of mild sweetness and polish. With quick, kind service and outdoor seating, Sab Café delivers both warmth and flavor. I loved that I could people watch while eating an absolutely divine meal. One to remember for sure. On the pricier side but absolutely worth it. Also, be warned: you can pay ~less~ by paying with cash.“

“Food: Pho tai was incredible and possibly the best pho in Tampa, after trying over a dozen places. The meat was second best to another spot, but the broth was so good that it makes up for it. The fresh rolls were excellent as well. The Vietnamese lemonade was delicious, but my only complaint is that for $6.50 I shouldn’t be getting a cup that’s 75% ice.
Atmosphere: Sunday night was completely empty except for my group. Very calm with some music in the background. Bench seating was pleasant.
I definitely will be coming back. This is the best broth in Tampa.“
