The food was really inedible. It tasted like old, instant, potatoes, packaged gravy and expired canned corn. The meatloaf wasn't like any meatloaf I have ever experienced. The pork tenderloin sandwich was the only edible item and I wouldn't order it again. It made for a very sad lunch....

Staff was great, but I ordered a Reuben and it was a THICK piece ( one huge chunk) not sliced corned beef of super tough meat. I couldn't bite it with my teeth so I pulled it off the bread a cut with steak knife and THAT was a task! I've never experienced a Reuben presented like this , not sliced meat? Even still, had I been able to chew it I would have been fine. Going to try other items, this one was probably not one of their better items. I'll give it another go though!

Kind of run down . A diner is a step up . No white wine of any kind (it's basically a bar ) &no onion straws . Maybe they are going out of business. My group liked their French dip but my. Chicken wrap was bland and tasteless & watery yuk !!! Won't be back.

Decent service, friendly lone waitress. Ham n bean soup tasty. Great iced tea. Ordered double shortys pack 3 with no cheese got 6 singles all with cheese. Kind nice server got me 3 without cheese; came out singles. Buns hard and hamburgers cooked to hard dry but greasy, so disappointed. I ate the burgers without Buns ( I was so hungry). My brothers say Clearwater site absolute opposite...good burgers soft Buns. This one is close to my home. But I guess I'll have to travel to Clearwater.?

Well I ordered the sliders and pork tenderloin and bean and ham soup. The slider was over cooked and the pork was under the thick part of it was rare not good make sure you order it well done ? but the flavor was great the soup pass warm no flavor. But definitely get the tenderloin well. I will try the beef next time

I wasn't really thrilled with the Philly cheesecake, que no fault of theirs it was the delivery people that did not place the order correctly. But it was quite grisly. Appetizers onion straws and the mushrooms delicious, my daughter had the loaded chicken tenders she absolutely loved them. Coleslaw very good but I did not get why I paid $4 for maybe a scoop and a half of coleslaw.

French Dip Ooh-La-La UPDATED AND EDITED MAY 27th, 2022. My husband and I came in for our usual Date Night. SOMETHING HAS CHANGED. We sat at a booth that smelled of old dirty water. I looked at the floor under the booth and there was food underneath. GROSS. STILL TRYING TO ENJOY DATE NIGHT: We ordered the usual Appetizer, Fried Pickles. They were served with almost no breading and undercooked. Yes, we ate them because we were starving and couldn't locate the waitress. Next my Ohh-lala Entree was on some sort of different Bread and I couldn't bite through the bread, too hard, super crunchy it tasted stale...I will attach a picture of the un-eaten half, the FF I ordered were completely unsalted so I reached for the salt shaker to salt my fries and the salt poured out onto the fries. (lid was not screwed on) I couldn't find our waitress because she was working the outside tables too as I later found out. My husband left half of his fish dinner, he said it tasted "off" and his Fries were unsalted like mine. ...This Pete & Shorty's has been our DATE NIGHT place for 3+ years, but after last night, we are DONE. YES, I complained to the waitress about the lack of food quality and the waitress shrugged her shoulders. That was the final straw. We normally tip quite generous. NOT LAST NIGHT. Either they have new cooks or the food has changed. I paid for our food and drinks at the Bar because our waitress was busy waiting Tables outside. SEE attached pictures of food. I brought it home to CUT UP my sub-like sandwich with a steak knife for the dog because you couldn't bite through the bread. HORRIBLE FOOD, Service was so-so but to be shrugged off AFTER I nicely explained about the food that was wasnt edible? Unacceptable!!! We washed the salt off the Fries before serving to our dog. I would like a reply from a Manager. THIS WAS OUR DATE NIGHT GO-TO restaurant, but the dirty water floor smell, to the bad food quality to the oh-well attitude of our waitress (who I thought) was our the Manager is completely unacceptable. Looking for another Date Night restaurant. Taking recommendations.

In total there were only 4 tables seated in the whole place (very empty) but the waitress hardly checked on our table. I could definitely live without this place in my life.

First time here and definitely will be back. I had their 1-lb shrimp boil for $15. What a deal! Corn, potatoes, shrimp with butter, old bay, and cocktail sauce. It was very good, but I wish the shrimp and potatoes/corn were cooked with the seasonings instead of the seasonings coming on the side. It was good, but could be so much better! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. Service was good, and prices were good for what you get. Can't wait to try more things here!

Fun Bandingo Night! Lots of fun Mushroom were tasty Juliano was an adorable server! Corn beef Ruben was not the best only because the meat was chewy. Jeff enjoyed his fried shrimp dinner, very tasty. Overall fun night

I had the grouper sandwich meal. The fish was really good. The fries could have been cooked a little longer and salted. I am very particular about coleslaw, so theirs is not my favorite. The service was good. The server was very nice. There was an unpleasant odor while we were there, maybe because of the heavy rains causing a backup from the pipes?
