Their catering is just as good, if not even better, than the restaurant. Highly recommend! And a pleasure to work with!
CLOSED October 6th. Apparently brother of owner has a place in Tampa that can host this restaurant in the future according to the neighbors… hope it comes back & lets the public know- they have updates on their Facebook page!!!!

As someone who has had trouble finding truly good SE Asian food in SoFlo and Orlando, this place is a long awaited find. Everything was prepared perfectly and full of the authentic Lao flavors that Thai food always falls short on. Look forward to making this a regular stop as part of my monthly work visits to the Tampa area.

These plates were smelling and tasting so good I forgot to let the camera eat first. Very chill inside and the service is a vibe. No rush here, I took my time and they were cool with that.

Small space so be willing to share a table which can be a wonderful experience if most seats are taken. Service is very personable. Food is outstanding! Great prices and menu.. A definite repeat.

Food was amazing.Great service!
This place was AWESOME!!! Everyone was super nice and i can’t wait to go back. We were just passing through and seen the great reviews. I was craving papaya salad and theirs was great. We ordered it spicy and it was spicy!!! We ordered the papaya salad, omelet, fresh rolls, lettuce wraps, and Tom yum.. It was all great! On our way out we had a nice chat with the owner who suggested the laab next time we’re in town and i can’t wait to get back!! Hopefully to your new location! ??

We always pass this restaurant and it's been on our "to try" list for a while so we finally stopped in and were blown away by the fantastic service and great food! The restaurant itself is small but it is kept very very clean. We were greeted and promptly seated. Our food came quickly and you could tell everything was FRESH. The drunken noodles and krab Rangoon were absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and has tons of options to suit everyone's cravings. Overall, we were quitepleased and will definitely be back!

Excellent food and prompt service, however, we were charged an 18% auto gratuity without ever being told by the server or notified on the screen to pay and didn’t realize so we ended up double tipping. This seems like an extremely dishonest/shady practice by the business to not make this auto gratuity obvious on the menu, thus the reason for my one star review.

This is a very quaint and cozy restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious and authentic. The Tom Khai Kai soup had deep rich flavors, the Laap Gai was perfectly spicy and incredibly flavorful. Penang curry and pineapple fried rice was also delicious. Portions were generous! Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be back!
On vacation and craving some home-cooked comfort food, we decided to stop by here for lunch after exploring the farmer’s market at ICOT Blvd. Since we were a large party, we called ahead and they managed to accommodate all of us.Apologies, but the food was so good that we forgot to take pictures! The younger kids loved the chicken wings and egg rolls as appetizers. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Papaya Salad, Lad Na, Pad See Ew, and Duck Noodle Soup.As for portion size, my daughter and niece shared the crispy Lad Na, which they found both filling and tasty. The papaya salad is incredibly authentic, just like you would find in any Laotian home. We tried both the Spicy Hot (American Spicy) and the Baw Phet Baw Sap (Asian Spicy) versions. My Vietnamese brother-in-law is particularly fond of the papaya salad at Sap Sap Lao.I will definitely make sure to visit this place again when I am back in Florida. It's a must-try!
The food was great. The staff were awesome. I enjoyed having there laab beef, papaya salad with sticky rice (yum ?). Will definitely come back whenever in Tampa again.

Authentic Lao food. The spice was on point and everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered the raw laap, papaya salad, chicken wings (my kids grab them before I got to take a picture ?) nam khao and chicken fried rice. Laap and papaya spice was on point. So glad we found this gem. If you want delicious lao food like how your mom makes it then come here! Highly recommend!!!

First time in, I had been dreaming of coming for quite some time. Wow. Just wow. The Laap Goong was incredible, I wanted to try something new and wow, was I blown. The fresh flavors, the herbs, the spice. Truly an incredible dish (if I could compare the style, it would be like a ceviche, but asian) I've never had anything more flavorful. I also got the Drunken noodles. Never had drunken noodles with so much flavor and the noodles were not like most places, they were thick and chewy. The server was an angel and I wish I could come here everyday 20/10
