The omelet was amazing. The potatoes cooked perfectly, And my waiter attended to me so well. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend you make a visit here if you looking for good diner food.Dietary restrictions: They have healthy egg white options. And veggie options.Parking: There's a parking lot on front and on one side. There is also street parallel parking where the shops are.

Another gem of Plant City.Stop by this locally owned restaurant. Great service. Great prices. Good food.I had to say this is one of the most affordable breakfast and lunch places around in all of Hillsborough County. The good service starts when you walk in the door. You'll be greeted and oftentimes there is a wait on the weekends. But it does go fast. If you need to be a little faster you can belly up to the bar. It's usually quick service. They have fresh baked items. Typically for desserts. A family favorite menu item is the meat lovers omelette. It is absolutely stuffed. I am more of a pancakes, bacon and home fries Kind of guy.. and they are good here.Stop by downtown and support all of these businesses. There's some great finds. And the Brick House Cafe is one of the best.Enjoy.

Very popular place, so there may be a bit of a wait. Service is fast, so the table turnover doesn't lag, and the breakfast is tasty. From a true born southerner, the grits are good! The smoked sausage is excellent too! We've been back several times.

Came here for breakfast on the recommendation of a friend; but if, like me, you're hoping for quality food and certain standards....then I suggest you reconsider. The Pros:- We were seated quickly- Free parking available on site- Our waitress was friendly, efficent, and provided great service for a busy weekend morning.- The biscuitsThe Cons:- RestroomsYou can learn a lot about a business based on their maintenence of a public space. The bathrooms here are hidden behind a brick wall in the second dining room with no sign or indication that they are there. I had to ask two waitress where they were and they looked at me like I was an inconvenience. Put up the signs and no one will have to ask. The doors were sticky and discolored, and the vents inside were crusted with dust. I doubt either has ever been properly cleaned. The floor was disgusting and trash was overflowing from the bin in the corner. The sink didn't drain properly and a waitress warned another customer that there was a known lack of water pressure. If I hadn't eaten prior to this, I would have lost my appetite and left.- FoodSet your expectations aside. The menu is a single page with one side for breakfast and the other for lunch, and it's strictly country food. However, the preparation is quick. The omelet was large and filled nicely ingredients, which I appreciate, but was oily and there were Kraft single slices melted on top. I don't know if this is a stylistic choice or a lack of shredded options, but as someone who avoids Kraft cheese (why is it orange?) I was surprised to see it.The hashbrowns were fine, but just as oily as the eggs. I mention this because when the bottom of your plate glistens with oil, you second guess what you're eating.- Last ObservationsFrom where I was seated, I had a sightline into the kitchen and unfortunately discovered a man with a rather long beard and no hair net over it. I can't tell you if he was a cook or a waiter, but the owners should care enough about the health code to know that a person with a beard and/or long hair (of which there were several) should be wearing a net. Though considering the bathrooms, they may not care at all.The interor was fine, but they could elevate it by stripping and restaining or repainting the black wood something lighter to compliment the brick wall, adding nicer lighting, and not packing their guests so close together when they accommodate large parties.Considering the above, I wouldn't bother returning.

From the outside the restaurant looks more upscale. When you walk through the front door, it is completely different inside. Tables and chairs and the atmosphere are all rundown and beat up and not very clean. Dusty like you would see in a gas station dine and dash. This was our first time here and it will be our last. We were seated in the back room and sat there forever, waiting for someone to come over for service. Three different waitresses walked past our table and nothing but crickets. I walked up to the front and managed to ask another waitress, “Who was waiting on our table?” and explained the situation that we had been seated and still had no service. There were several open tables in the restaurant, so they were slammed with guests. The people that came in after us had already ordered their food and had their drinks delivered. From then on, we had nothing but a bad attitude. “Why? Because we nicely inquired about service? The excuse we got from our server was that she was on the phone. Then why not have someone else serve us? Or even have someone take our order for our server. If server knew she was going to be on the phone for a lengthy amount of time, then she should have communicated with the hostess - not to seat anyone in her section. Pure and simple. My friend asked for a glass of juice when our food was dropped off – after that our so-called server never came back to our table to see how our food was or if we needed anything. Coffee refill – forget it - nonexistent. Had to flag her down to get a to-go box. When I asked for the check – she said nothing – rudely grabbed the check off our table, flipped it over and laid it on the jelly caddy, then gave me a look.Food was average for greasy truck stop food with overly salty breakfast meats. Biscuit was airy and moist, but again salty. My friend’s toast was burnt on one piece. Would have preferred that my grits didn’t already have melted butter lakes across the top of them, but at this point would it do me any good to say anything given the poor attitude of the server toward us. Coffee was descent. The restroom I used was surprisingly clean. Parking was ridiculous. We had to park on the street and walk down and across the street to the restaurant. We all know things happen, but all customers deserve good service. We still have no idea why we were treated this way – we were nothing but polite.Nonetheless, we will never be returning. Who wants to go somewhere where they are ostracized and banished to the doghouse.

so I couldn't even eat here because the hostess kept pulling the wrong pager number. what should have been a 20 minute wait was double and still wasnt sat. sitting people just walking in and at the bottom of the list and ignoring those who had been waiting is unacceptable. honestly not sure I will even give them a second chance to attempt to eat the food.
