Fred's Market Restaurant has mastered the art of good, southern, homemade cooking! This is the original Fred's location, and it shows! From the food, to the customer service, to the atmosphere. If you think about a family restaurant, I guarantee you are thinking of this restaurant! We thought the Lakeland location was our favorite but have changed our minds. Traveling from Ocoee was worth it, and Brenda provided the definition of service like she was family! We would definitely drive the hour to come back if we knew she was here! I believe this is what the Johnson's envisioned when they started it all. All I can say is, "Wow! We love Fred's."

Family owned restaurant. Staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in! All you can eat. Everything is house made. I loved everything that I tried: Sweet Tea, Cat Fish , Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and BBQ Chicken Wings. Dessert was great as well: red velvet cake (with cream cheese frosting) and strawberry shortcake (with local strawberries).This is my new favorite lunch spot! I will be back again and SOON ?
