I was lodging in Plant City on business as a vendor for Sun n Fun. I have been going there for years with the company I work for. I went there for breakfast Friday morning 630am, Ms Ann was serving me, gave me phenomenal customer service however my 3 egg western omelet was sweet to my liking. I wasn't happy with the omelet. I didn't have time to bring it to the managers attention because I had to get to the airport. Anyway I was surprised because i never had a problem with my local I-Hop in Hernando County.

I had sirloin tips, and my husband had the 2x2x2. Hash browns were buttery and crispy, bacon was perfect, eggs cooked brilliantly, and of course, the pancakes were delicious.

Great food and great service always, thank you! HATS OFF to Manager Ed. He is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS hands on, working with his team. Either serving tables, working the register or preparing the plates on the line. Today he was assisting the dishwasher and also on the front line cooking! He's absolutley an amazing team player. And some of his team follows in his footsteps. This morning after placing my order at the breakfast bar, one of the line cooks came around front to serve me my breakfast. Kudos to Able, thank you! Thank you Plant City Team IHOP! Your greatly appreciated!!

I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants. With that said, I was not completely turned off from this place.First, I'll say that it looked to be clean. Next, it was busy and filled with people. Finally, the service was fairly fast.I ordered the chicken biscuit with hash browns. I must say the biscuit was much bigger than I anticipated. The chicken was rather large, too. It was slathered in white gravy and topped with hash browns.I'll say that looks are deceiving as the chicken reminded me of high school chicken patties. It did not appear to be a breast but rather nugget-like. The hash browns were cooked well, but it was a rather meager portion.As always, coffee was plentiful and was rather good.In the end, it was $25.00 with a tip. It was a bit expensive considering most mom and pop places charge half the price and give bigger helpings.Probably not a place I return to any time soon.

Not loving the new menu and was brought sausage when I asked for bacon. Just took it and went with it. I Don't knowit's just not what it used to be. This parking lot was empty and the wooden spoon and brick house parking lots were full. Guess I'm not the only one.
