This was my favorite sandwich shop until now,I stop by yesterday in picked up the original Cubans like I always do when I'm in the area from Bartow fl.well yesterday I got to the end of my sandwich in find a long red or maybe orange hair,I called the restaurant an was being treated like I was trying to get a free sandwich or something. Until I said I wasn't trying to get another sandwich because I live in Bartow fl.,thats when that person changed they're attitude about the situation!

NOT THE BEST CUBAN. This place is a disappointment. Waited over 40 minutes for one sandwich, that was cold in the middle. Will not be back, do not recommend at all.

Awesome pit stop for the best strawberry milkshake!! Thick and creamy with real yummy Plant City strawberries!! Their Cubans have crisp bread and are delicious too!!

What a neat place! I'm so glad I followed the Yelper's suggestions and tried it out. We got there around 2pm and while it was busy it wasn't crazy. Plenty of parking. There were 2 people in line in front of me and the line moved quickly. We ordered the ham and cheese Cuban (for my mom) and I ordered the Tuna sandwich. We also ordered 2 strawberry milkshakes. The sandwiches were very good, the bread was delicious. We ordered them pressed - yum. The milkshakes were sooo good. I ordered 2 more to go! It was a gorgeous February day and we had no issues sitting on the picnic tables beneath the wood canopies. It might be a different story in August! Stop by if you're close by or on I-4 near the Plant City exit. You won't be sorry!

We stumbled across the Strawberry Hut on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We were a little hungry so decided to stop in for a Cuban sandwich. It's pretty obvious that this is a good spot by the locals who were waiting on orders that they had called in for pick up. We ordered a couple 8"Cubans, waited about 10 minutes for them to make them up. I would say that these were pretty darned good, not the best I've had, but solid just the same. I would definately stop back by the Hut for another if I ever find myself in Plant City. I might add that they have a nice covered area in case to want to eat there, but not in your car. Next time, I'll probably try a shake or short cake, just so I can update my review :)
