My sister originally shared this lovely place to me a few years ago and I enjoy everything about the small family owned restaurant!, the customer service is always top tier and the food is always fresh and delicious (especially the fresh homemade bread and desserts) ? I love the old fashioned style to the place as well as the pianist! He always plays lovely music, they also have a small play area for the kids which is really nice. This place definitely makes everyone feel like family! I’m super late to leaving this review but it definitely deserves more than a 5 star in my eyes ?!!

Visited with friends. Loved the place, service was great. Ordered egg salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato. The main thing I tasted was the lettuce and tomato. There was not enough egg salad on the sandwich. My friend ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it has very little chicken salad on it. Bread was great. Besides that we had a good time and it is a great place to visit.

Single-handedly one of the best quick bite lunch places in Plant city.
The owner and their staff are unbelievably nice.
While they don't have a lot of options, what they do have is done the right way with all of their bread being baked fresh. That says something about the quality and care they put into this business.
Theres almost always love pain music and the 1950's styling is truly something all can enjoy.

There is a sign that says "We don't pretend to be fine dining... If you have reservation, you're in the wrong place!", and it could not be any further from the truth!
Martha and her son has done amazing to focus on a family and diner atmosphere that gives a strong feeling of being home and in such a friendly environment.
Martha and her son do amazing with customers, I've visited plenty of times and not once have i seen a single person cause trouble, not even a single baby cry or a single person shout.
The cooks do amazingly, the food is something i love as well, It really has a "Made at home" feel to it which enhances the entire feeling of being there, the Italian sub being lately my favorite meal, that I'm craving as i speak, and now i want to go up there and order one, lol.
I like being realistic with my ratings, and i can humbly say that every worker at whistle stop deserve these 5 star ratings, they truly earned it!
