Had the Rueben again but this time had the clam chowder and a delicious chocolate malt. Great service and awesome food. Small town nostalgia is the decor, the theme and the way of life here. They call the locals by name and this place is a locals favorite. Highly recommended. Live music while we ate today.

Very friendly and happy staff, delicious sandwiches with fresh made bread. Wonderful atmosphere set in a historic pharmacy. A man was playing the piano on a Wednesday during lunch. The Whistle Stop Special is a hot sandwich with corned beef and roast beef on fresh baked NY style rye bread. It was great.
We did lunch on National Chocolate Cake Day (Jan 27). We got to eat outside and enjoy the perfect weather. I had the Plant City salad dish and my wife had her usual veggie sandwich. Both were very good. But what was great was the chocolate/ peanut butter cake for dessert. It was only $3.95 and one of the best cakes I have had in a long time. If you go, get that cake if it is available.

Wanted to love it, sat for 10 minutes and no one came by or even greeted us. A table walked in as we still sitting and got service asap. Went down the street to Normas instead.

Marty is such a great person and does a great job running the place.The feel of the place has kept its old-timey vibes and really embraced trains and being next to the tracks.It can get really busy at lunch and need a couple more servers.
