We went at 9:10pm and with the open sign on and the doors already closed, I knocked on the door since there was an employee changing the trash and she ignored me as if no one was knocking, total disappointment... they lost a customer and I waited Take action because the schedule is until 10pm.

We enjoyed the wings tonight and they were delicious. We also have their p8zza on a different visit and enjoyed it also. Will definitely be back . Also, I would recommend this to others.

There's pizza and then there's pizza with a smile! We LOVE eating at Hungry Howie's in Polk City, Florida. The variety of food is amazing, and always served fresh and delicious. Hyla greets us often and she always has a smile and is delightful! Their "pizza bowl" is delicious!! It's a pizza without the crust, but all the good stuff a pizza has on top! WOW! The chicken wings are awesome, as are the subs and of course the various flavors of pizza! Their salads are made fresh daily too! You won't go wrong eating there! Thank you to the crew at Hungry Howie's Pizza and Subs in Polk City.

Honestly I used to make fun of this place when I was younger because my mom lived near nothing else in an underdeveloped Polk City and I love New York pizza. BUT! The food is always good, even the salads. The delivery guys are prompt and they’re also nice in the store.

Excellent customer service the night we went. First off the order was ordered online with the call center when we got there to pick it up it was not in the system. So the young man helped and reordered it, thank goodness because for the same order it was around five dollars cheaper than what the call service quoted. And helped since we had already paid through the service. I understand everyone needs to work but come on !!! someone far away can hardly speak English.

Listen Hungry Howie's in Polk City on the corner of Commonwealth and I don't even know what the wait is 557 or 5:59 or I don't know what the hell it is it's just that I know how I go there they are in the nicest people you will ever meet ever they are concerned about their community and they are practicing what they preach yeah I'm I'm telling you I've eaten there many times I have I have brought pizza home I have had what they call a submarine but it's really a calzone and they're very good it's it's not a sub but that was my disappointment it was good and huge they don't skimp on anything and they don't skimp on smiles and welcomes and that's the most important thing yeah I've been there many times I will go back they're just great people and the food is good so give it a go there's a lot of things on that menu that I have not had and I may never have some of them but I'm I am experimenting blossoming you might say Brandon well never mind but they run a tight shop a good shop and a Christian in my opinion they have heart and everybody that works there that I have met has the same heart as the people that own the place and you couldn't ask for better so just check it out that's all check it out yourself

I want to give a shout out to the awesome staff at this establishment. We went in at 3 on 9/18/2023. I didn't get their names but they were all so nice!! Beautiful smiles! The woman that waited on us handed me a cup of water and said it'd be the best water I'd ever have in my life. No joke - that water was delish!
