We were driving through and saw this on the map and decided to give it a try for lunch. Sorry but the food was absolutely terrible. The shredded meat was like boiled meat or cooked in a slow cooker. Nothing had taste don't waste your time or money just keep driving. Not sure about all these comments that says great food.

The best pork and Mac and cheese I've ever had. Plus they have Au Jus soaked boiled Peanuts. I have always loved boiled Peanuts but these were the best I have ever had. This place is a definite must.

The food here is so good. I got The General Van Fleet, which consist of 3 Spare Ribs, Pull Pork and Chicken, Sausage, Brisket, and 3 sides, Mac and Cheese, Potato Salad, and Greens.(I should've got w sides of Mac and Cheese instead of the Greens). And Texas Toast. This is definitely going to be my spot.

I had a pork brisket platter to go. Tasty. The pork was foil wrapped separately so the meat was still warm and bans were not mushy. Courteous workers. The restaurant is clean. Highly recommend this bbq restaurant.

They get all the stars and strips! Steaming hot beans and BBQ right to your door. Sooo delicious! Delivery was exceptional. We recommend anything on this menu! For the real BBQ- Keep on driving until you get to Polk City BBQ Company

We got the van fleet for $27.00 it’s enough for two people and then some! The sides were good. collard's, Mac n cheese, and baked beans. The beans were my favorite out of the sides, they had a flavor I wasn’t expecting and I was pleasantly surprised. Brisket was cooked perfect. Service was fast. I would recommend giving this place a try!Parking: There are about 6 or so spots in the front of the restaurant and additional parking in the back.Kid-friendliness: It’s a family owned restaurant with an ice cream shop attached. Nothing adult only about this place. Everyone is welcome
