You have to wait 15 or 20 minutes for your chicken, but let me tell you what it is succulent. Juicy delicious well. Seasoned some of the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life.

Walked in only one person working. Asked about several things on the menu and was told they don’t have them anymore…. (Change your menu!) Was also told no Pork products are made here. (Change your menu!) Waited a long time for my food because only one person was working. Customers before me got the wrong food in there order and did nothing to help them.

I AM A JAMAICAN AND I LOVE TO SUPPORT MY PEOPLE. Unfortunately for this establishment I will no longer continue to come for lunch. The food taste is not consistent. Sometimes the rice is ok and other days not so much. The rice type changes. Today the rice n peas was completely soggy due to excess water. The chicken flavor is very different today. The lady with the gold hair is very nice, but needs more help. The person cashiering should not be the same person in the back preparing your meal. They do not have a refund policy which doesn’t help the situation. This establishment should be handled with class/professionalism and consistency.

I will never come back. I went and stood at the counter for about ten minutes waiting to be helped. The whole time two employees were there and could see I was waiting to be helped. It wasn't until after I headed towards the door they decided to ask if I needed some help. I left and went somewhere else and ordered and got my food in the same time I just stood looking crazy in this establishment.

I waited a few minutes while they made a fresh batch of Cajun chicken tenders. It was worth the wait! When I arrived home, I was pleasantly surprised that there was not a drop of grease in the container. The chicken was crispy, crunchy with a spicy Cajun flavor, but not overpowering. The tenders were huge and I can tell they were hand-cut. The honey biscout was a little doughy, but I came for the chicken. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Chicken tastes burnt and no flavor. The jambalaya was dry and chewy old and tasted burnt and no flavor. Biscuits were dry old and flavorless !I should have believed the bad reviews!Forced myself to eat only the middle of 1 breast and throughout the rest. Wasted $40.00.

If this is going to be a Jamaican restaurant, just make it a Jamaican restaurant and don’t do the crispy crunchy chicken because this is by far the worst crispy crunchy location I have ever been to. I paid nine dollars for three pieces of chicken and a cold side of mashed potatoes. HOW YALL GONNA PUT COLD GRAVY ON HOT MASHED POTATOES!?!?! You guys couldn’t have possibly thought that the hot mashed potatoes were going to make the gravy hot to there is no way you guys could have possibly thought that…smh

Found this restaurant in the area and wanted to give it a try. Lord why did I do that. Let me start with the mac and cheese. Who in the hell made the mac and cheese. It was watery and flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted like the cardboard box from which they came. They biscuits were tolerable but I'm sure they were Pillsbury with a touch of honey. The fries weren't anything to rave about. The chicken was extra greasy and had no flavor on the inside past the skin. The tostones were too thick. I wanted to like it but this was a waste. The fried chicken mixed, mac n cheese, fries, mashed potatoes, tostones and biscuit where a NO go. Maybe some other things on the menu but none we purchased.

This location has went down every since new owners took over. I understand getting acclimated in that aspect, but the woman there is blatantly, rude for no reason.I came the other day and they were closed during daylight hours, so I just called to confirm they were open and ask what time did they close, the man on the phone said 930, and immediately after I could hear the woman complaining that I was calling to ask for the time, as if I have ever called here before. Needless to say, I told him never mind, he chuckled.I guess I’ll go to another chicken restaurant. I have looked up this location on yelp, and they are not there, however, other franchises in different cities are present on yelp, I hope other franchises at other locations have a better customer service policy. She (the Caribbean lady, who is always there at the Southgate location in North Lauderdale) should really work on her customer service and not to get upset because someone calls regarding their business hours; especially when their hours are never consistent. Open one day close the next. They have power one day, Powers out the next day, at least that was the issue when I came the other day, and the door was locked, but the man pointed toward the lights and made a hand suggesting that they were closed from the inside). I will not be back here ever, but I really do miss the pizza from the old owners.

This restaurant was waaaaaay better when the guy owned it cause since the woman took over the chicken is always burned and very small, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

I wish I could give this place no stars. I don’t know if every location is the same but let me tell you I was so disappointed in this place. I’ve been wanting to try this place for months and have been so very hesitant. About a month ago I decided to try worst mistake of my life. Everything is fried in the same oil, I know these places use boxed potatoes for the mash but it’s like they didn’t even follow the instructions on the box??‍♀️ tasteless potatoes that they drown in gravy, Water has more FLAVOR then their Mac and Cheese ?? It saddens me that I even have to write such a disappointing review. I try to support my people especially islanders but the owner really needs to do better, make a better effort to serve the people better food.
