Aromas del Peru

Aromas is one of our favorite places to eat - we live in the building so it's super convenient. Their outdoor seating is nice when it's not windy and they do their best to block out the traffic noise. Our server was very good - friendly and quick. The food is always excellent, cooked perfectly and very tasty. We'll be eating at Aromas a lot this winter!

Simply exquisite. Everything was absolutely top-notch. I'm from downtown Chicago. I know exquisite food. I was unbelievably impressed.

Last time I was here was last January. The food is still outstanding and a good value. Service is good and they make a single diner comfortable. It's one of my go to's when I have to travel to Pompano Beach.

We always love to go there. This is one of our favorite places to go on our weekly dates! Food is always delicious! Drinks as well!! Favorite : Pisco sour with passion fruit!!!

We went there and the waitress took drink orders , she went over specials saying they had a Margarita special but made it seem in her description that you were getting Teo Margot the price of one Well each margarita was 24 dollars and was mostly ice with very little alcohol , they also had a pisco sour that clost 24 dollars and was light so three drinks cost 72 dollars with very little alcohol . The chau fa Teo in the party ordered was very dry , I had the risotto with lomo saltado and it was good . Someone else had the rice with seafood and it was also ok. We've eaten there before but won't go back because they misrepresented the drinks and it was also ripoff

Loved the Antichucos de Barrio. Very tender and flavorfull! Chaufa the Chef was a home run! looking forward to ordering it again.

Food was great; same for service. The only (minor) issue were some fruit flies around... which made me wonder “what's going on here”? For context, we sat indoors.

Menu excellent. Food excellent. Ambience excellent, except -- restaurant had a smell like backed up plumbing/sewage that hits you as soon as you walk in. They need to address it. Service was great. Only negative was the server mentioned they had an appetizer of trio de mixto ceviche. It is $38 on the website but it was charged at $48 on my bill. If they are going to suggest that appetizer, they should tell you the price upfront. Honestly the entrees are less than that. the grilled octopus appetizer at $29 was the best i've ever eaten. The sashimi octopus with Olivo sauce at $19 also excellent. the beef chaufa was flawlessly made. the chupa de camarones was killer. The only dish that was average was shrimp ceviche. We found it low on flavor as if the shrimp were fully cooked prior to making the dish so the acid and flavor from the lime juice did not penetrate the shrimp. Sounds critical but this is without a doubt the best peruvian restaurant in the area.

Pretty place and very friendly service. The dishes while probably traditional weren't for us, Too many heavy thick sauces buried the flavors of the fish. Quality of shrimp,mussels,and calamari was medicure. I may not understand the combinations of ingredients but I do prefer simpler dishers with fresher ingredients.

Everything was delicious. The drinks excellent. Super recommended and try different dishes and entrees are all very well prepared.

Love the traditional Peruvian dishes . . . flavorful and the presentation of dishes is elegant

Perhaps we didn't order well, but we found the food was only fair. We had an octopus dish that said was made with olive oil but came with an abundance of purple sauce. Seafood was overcooked. Service was not particularly attentive.

Soni was an excellent waitress!

Very good service, the food is fresh and very delicious. I loved it. I recommend it. Above all, Miss Soni served me and explained my doubts about the dishes. I give her 10/10.
