“Excellent!! I went Just Spoons for brunch. First I would suggest make reservations. This restaurant gets crowded fast. I had the grilled shrimp and fried catfish w/ eggs and grits. Enough for 2 people and it delicious. My daughter had the curry shrimp and grits awesome and flavorful. My severer was Sean was attentive answered questions about the dishes and the drink menu is like no other I had the brunch punch ( contains alcohol)and my daughter the sunset ( non alcohol) both excellent. This my first time at this restaurant and it now on my restaurant rotation.“

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

“Came in several times and always excellent quality and so fresh. Falaffels one of the best ever, vegan burger delish, vegan banana bread amazing. Staff is always friendly as well. And we roast our own coffee (picky) and forgot to bring some on our trip - this is roasted very well, good balance of dark enough and still can get the fruit notes.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian, vegan“

“10/10 My wife and I are in town for a show. Wanted to grab breakfast, so we picked this place from reviews. We had the nicest server. A lady with beautiful gray hair and cool jewelry. The breakfasts were unbelievably awesome and the coffee was delicious. Manager came over to our table. Also a very nice guy. We don't get to Boca often, but we'll absolutely put this on our things to do list.“

“The atmosphere and excellent service were top tier! They didn't have lots of items to choose from but for the price it was a decent selection especially since the mimosas and bloody Mary's were included in the price. There was a gentleman singing hits from present and past - that was a nice touch.“

“I went here for the second time and I will say that getting my order in and out was much quicker than when I went on a Sat. My server was very good and attentive & the food was very tasty. I gave 4 stars because I wasn't pleased with the manager. My daughter noticed a long piece of hair was on her pancakes before she started eating so I notified our server and she saw that it was replaced with a new stack (thank you) I was displeased the way we didn't get an apology for the inconvenience or anything & I was standing right beside him. That was very poor management skills and especially being in Boca. It would've taken anything from him to just acknowledge the wrong and make the customer feel like you at least cared even if you didn't; it's called good customer service!!
Thank you again to the other wonderful servers/staff that was willing and ready to assist with ease.“

“Exploring the Pompano Beach Drawbridge: A Gateway to Serenity
As you veer off Atlantic Boulevard and descend the ramp toward Pompano Beach, a striking structure greets you—the Pompano Beach Drawbridge. This isn't just any bridge; it's a nautical gateway that ushers you into a realm where the land meets the sea, and the bustling city life transitions into the tranquil vibes of the beach.
The bridge itself is a marvel, designed to reflect the sail elements of the nearby pier parking garage, creating a cohesive and welcoming entrance to the barrier islands. It's not just a passageway but a landmark that captures the essence of Pompano Beach with its grand sail-like entrances and a pedestrian esplanade underneath. This esplanade connects the south to the north, weaving together restaurants and buildings in a seamless blend of urban and maritime architecture.
To the right, as you make your way down, you're greeted by the 'yellow yolk'—a burst of color that adds to the picturesque views surrounding the area. It's a spot that invites you to pause and soak in the beauty, to watch the boats glide by as the drawbridge lifts, on the hour and half-hour, against the backdrop of the expansive sky.
The Pompano Beach Drawbridge isn't just a structure; it's an experience. It's where you can witness the harmonious dance of engineering and aesthetics, functionality and beauty. It's a place that reminds you that sometimes, the journey is just as enchanting as the destination.
So next time you find yourself at this drawbridge, take a moment to appreciate the intricate design and the serene views. Let it be a reminder of the delightful surprises that await when you take the scenic route.“
