My partner and I visited Checkers Old Munchen while on vacation to Pompano. We stumbled upon this hidden gem on accident and could not be more grateful we did! We were informed that Thursday is "ladies night," so I received half-off. Staff was accommodating, friendly and allowed us to enjoy a wonderful dinner together. The atmosphere and decor truly encompasses a German spirit. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

What a wonderful wall decoration of Stein mugs for repeat customers, and I love that the staff are very attentive to our needs. I wish my schnitzel didn't come on this type of bread but it was good anyways. I'd be back. The chicken noodle soup was amazing though.

Had dinner with my friends, Joanne and Rebecca this evening. When our wonderful dinner was done, our server told us that the guy at the table next to us paid our bill. He is tall and from #Oregon. We have no idea why he paid our bill. All we can do is to say thank you for your generosity.BTW our beer was with grapfruit soda, which was awesome. They gave us a taste and we ordered 3 of them ?.We came all the way from Lake Worth because I just love the food here and have been doing it for many years. The onion soup is the best.
