I ordered grits eggs bacon potatoes and toast. It was delicious. It was more refreshing to know that the owner made the food. Outstanding chef! I will definitely be returning . The customer service was outstanding as well! Thank you for a great breakfast!

The only reason I gave this poor rating is because when I call to make a delivery order, the person who answers the phone doesn't seem to be a people person or doesn't like taking orders. I've called a couple of times and been transferred to someone else. As an educated and friendly person, I don't like feeling uncomfortable when placing an order. Unfortunately, that's how I feel when I call to order food from this place. In fact, I recommended this place to a friend, but she had the same experience and didn't like the attitude over the phone. While the service is better in person at the cafe, I suggest improving the customer service when taking phone orders. When customers are in a hurry, they need to feel comfortable calling to order food, and that means being listened to and answered in a friendly manner. Due to my personal experience, I won't be recommending this place to my coworkers for delivery orders." Don’t promote delivery when employees who answer the phone don’t know how to take orders and treat people right. Is sad that this is not the only review about phone orders

I had a disappointing experience at Copans Cafe during my recent visit. I ordered the breakfast special which included eggs cooked over hard. Unfortunately, the eggs initially came out runny, so I had to return them. What shocked me was that the owner, seemingly from nowhere, took the eggs from the cook, rearranged them with his bare hands without washing them or using gloves, and handed them back to me. This was quite unhygienic and concerning.I felt uncomfortable about the situation and mentioned it, which led to the owner displaying a rather unpleasant attitude. Eventually, he offered a refund. Overall, my experience at Copans Cafe was marred by this incident, and I hope they can improve their food quality and customer service in the future.
