I was in the area, and looked for a great spot to have a coffee and toast. This place did not disappoint. I was greeted the moment I walked in. The staff were very friendly. Walked in and it was a silence that can drive you out the door again. As I approached the counter, the girl at front was the only person attending everyone . We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches. 1 colada . 1 cortadito. And 1 café con leche. And 2 pastelitos. $hit came out to $38.00 mind you. She wanted tip on top of that. It’s breakfast. I didn’t even get a garnish on my plate and I’m paying a little too much for just a simple egg ham and cheese toast sandwich. Secondly upon using my debit card. They added an additional 5% charge to my card. Which raised it even more. This ain’t even Miami prices and it’s like the simplest restaurant on the corner. I don’t know. Definitely the first and last time you’ll catch me walking up in there. Talk about super inflation.
