Ordered a chicken kebab dinner it was not bad not cheap but not kebab it was chicken cutlets with rice. They don’t even have Humus

Only item that was good was the kofte. Over priced menu. We had a mixed platter of chicken and kofte with rice and romaine salad and 2 ayran’s. The kofte was delicious but the chicken was thin and tough without much flavor for chicken that is supposedly marinated for 30 hours. The pide was too thin, the cheese hardened making it chewy and the combination of sucuk with pastors made it too salty. The rice was not a Turkish pilaf, more like the rice in Latin food (bland). The $56 for two plates does not justify the quantity or quality of the two plates.

1st time here and was very yummy….. I had the roasted beef pide… did not know what a pide was.. very nice little place and not too busy…. I will come back.. this used to be a Italian restaurant back in the day when my brother and my nephew Josh lived in the neighborhood, but this was really nice and I bet my nephew JosheatsfL would like to try it out….

Alata Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The lahmacun, minced meat pide, and beef pide were outstanding — some of the best I’ve had in the US. Fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Turkish cuisine!

Very bad food on top of it very expensive. I could have given zero points if there was an option. Got cheated by the positive reviews. Everything on the menu is above $25 and the portions they give doesn't justify half the cost. Low quality food with bad smell on the tables.

Galata lives up to the stellar reviews! I explained to the owner that this was my first time in and he was happy to present his menu to me. He was very friendly and helped me decide on the mixed platter, which included the chicken and lamb, rice, and salad. Nothing lacked in flavor, in fact the unique spices were refreshing. I enjoyed my time and meal so much here, I would give it a 6/5 stars if possible. (The baklava was also noteworthy - very balanced and tasty!)

This place is a biggest joke! I am totally disappointed, I don't know if they have fake reviews.
Overpriced for what you get, charged me 20 bucks for Kofte kebab and i got 5 small pieces, a lot of rice (more then in chipotle) and lettuce. This is a scam! I had to order pizza after that and share with my coworker because for 20 bucks we are still hungry! About taste its okay, but nothing special. This dish shouldn't cost more then $12!

My bro and I went here Wednesday evening. It was pretty empty, just us, then a solo diner showed up later. I feel they do most business on Uber Eats and Doordash. The service was EXCELLENT, the food was BEYOND AMAZING. The salad that was included, was one of the BEST I've had in my life, so fresh, like the vegetables were picked today on site. The rice, there's something SPECIAL about the rice. Everything was so DELICIOUS and I felt GREAT after consuming. This place will now be included in my rotation. I shall return. Oh and there's a Turkish Grocery on site. Try the Figs.
