1st time here and was very yummy….. I had the roasted beef pide… did not know what a pide was.. very nice little place and not too busy…. I will come back.. this used to be a Italian restaurant back in the day when my brother and my nephew Josh lived in the neighborhood, but this was really nice and I bet my nephew JosheatsfL would like to try it out….

Alata Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The lahmacun, minced meat pide, and beef pide were outstanding — some of the best I’ve had in the US. Fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Turkish cuisine!

Galata lives up to the stellar reviews! I explained to the owner that this was my first time in and he was happy to present his menu to me. He was very friendly and helped me decide on the mixed platter, which included the chicken and lamb, rice, and salad. Nothing lacked in flavor, in fact the unique spices were refreshing. I enjoyed my time and meal so much here, I would give it a 6/5 stars if possible. (The baklava was also noteworthy - very balanced and tasty!)
