We used to go to this Flanigan's location because the music and loud volume at the E Commercial Blvd location was too loud and the Pompano location one could have a conversation at lunch time- now this is no longer the case after the last 3 visits- yes it is a bar but not at 8 o'clock at night when one expects to hear loud music, not relaxing lunch meal time- many restaurants have this same issue where sometimes set up staff turns volume up while prepping for opening and it never gets turned down; a shame because food and server ( Jackie) were great- time to search for a new spot for lunch

The food is good but no more. Benches are uncomfortable. Promotions are attractive. It is not very clean...

Fantastic lunch specials M-F, I especially like the burgers and half chicken meals. Food is always very good and the service is friendly and paced well. They have picnic tables outside at this location and are pet friendly which is great as my dog loves to go out to lunch too!

Carry out, ordered 2 burgers which were fine and buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing. Got BBW wings and ranch. Just pathetic. Is it really so hard to take an order down over the phone and ensure its correct? Horrible service. Oh and course the online prices are not what ur actually charged.

Went to this location on Tuesday 8/5/25. The menu that was given to me had a special on Tuesday that said order a Pitcher of beer and get a free order of fish dip. When informed the server she said that the menu was incorrect. I requested the manager because that is not my fault as that was the menu given to me. Accustomed to the USA as the customer is always right the manager said that is a mistake on the menu and we cannot give you the free order of the fish dip. Then the manager got upset and asked us to leave the restaurant. So the customer service at this location was very poor and will not visit this Flannigan's again.

For the past 25 years I have come to rely on Flannigans for reliably good food and service at a reasonable price. Never having had a problem with food in the past, I was disappointed with the treatment from “Tim” the manager at the pompano location on May 14,2025. The prime rib meal deal is an All time favorite of mine. However for the first time ever, the prime rib was very salty and tough. Having struggled through eating about half the meat, our server noticed and we requested to speak to the manager. Tim , the manager, proceeded to tell us that the seasoning was the same on all prime ribs at all Flannigans. this prime rib was no different than at any other Flannigans. He was rude and unappreciative of customer feedback and did not even offer an apology for the food nor did he offer thanks to us as customers. Neither the restaurant or the bar was crowded which seemed a little unusual, but certainly understandable with the management attitude that we encountered.

his evening in Pompano Beach and as soon as I sat at the bar. I was told not to be served and I didn't know for what reason. When I arrived home this evening I called the bar to try and confirm why and the manager told me that he was just exercising his right to refuse service but I feel that it was an abuse of right and or power and blatant discrimination to poor innocent customers who never broke any rules. His name was James and then he just hung up the phone. I think this is wrong and unprofessional for management to do this I did finish an orange juice for 4.27 with a 2 dollar tip and exited the building.. .it was the Worse experience EVER Show less

I’ve been a loyal Flanigan’s customer for years, especially at the Pompano Beach location. I go at least once a week. But after what happened during my last visit, I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever feel comfortable eating there again. I bit into my cheeseburger and found a piece of metal inside. It was buried in the sandwich and could have seriously injured me. This wasn’t just an inconvenience, it was dangerous. I told the waiter, who brought over the manager. They did comp our food and were professional about it, which I appreciate. But frankly, that’s not enough. A foreign object like that in food is a major health and safety issue, and I’m shocked it happened at a place I’ve trusted for so long. This kind of mistake is inexcusable. I’m sharing this so others are aware, and so management understands how serious this is. I’m sad and disappointed. Flanigan’s used to be my favorite spot, but now I’m hesitant to ever go back.

So, we went here for St. Patty's Day as it is supposed to be an Irish bar. After a 20 min wait, we were seated. The Being the day we ordered the special Corned Beef and Cabbage. The cabbage was barely cooked as were the carrots being practically raw. The potatoes were mostly cook. The Corned Beef was the only thing that was good on the plate. The beer menu was lacking with few Irish beers, and the couple we really wanted they didn't even have left. All in all, not a great impression. There are so many other good restaurants in the Pompano area that I will avoid this one in the future.

We tried this spot because someone recommended it. My husband had the ribs, that were tasty. I tried the vegetable pesto pasta. About my 3rd bite in I felt this long hair wrapping around my tounge as I was chewing. I spit it out on the napkin and showed the waitress. She was mortified and made me a fresh dish and comped the price off our bill. That was nice of her but honestly I could barely eat the new dish after what happened. It wasn't just a little hair, it was thick black 8-10 inch glop of hair. We would go back and try it again possibly in the future. They do have a huge menu and good specials. I just hope they have the kitchen staff wear hair nets to prevent something like that again.

Caren z was a fast, efficient server, and super friendly. The hostess was wonderful (the one working had long cool hair, I didn’t remember her name). Other members of staff gave us a refill and napkins. We sat at high tops (to see the fish). I had two young children and all the servers were friendly and accommodating to us. The staff on board at 6:00 pm on Tuesday did a great job!!!!

The atmosphere is nice and the servers are nice enough, I guess. According to the menu, the place is supposedly famous, but the food is only good in presentation. The actual taste did not rly stand out as anything I couldn't have made myself and that is concerning, upon considering how expensive this place was. On my first visit, I had the lemon garlic pasta and it was average at best. The second visit I had the Cajun pasta and, because I happen to be from Louisiana, there is simply no doubt that the dish was just wrong. While typically a cream based pasta, Flannigan's serves the pasta more like a stir fry. Just to be certain, I did ask a server if my dish looked like the Cajun pasta and she confirmed it was. Naturally, I won't expect anyone to take my word for it. The photo of both dishes will be included below so that you, as the reader, can decide for yourselves.
