I like the Brown Stew Chicken 😋

I got this location confused with flavors in Deerfield. The rice was hard & old & the brown stew chicken was spicy

This place was recommended for good food and it did provide tasty authentic Jamaican food. The restaurant itself could use some sprucing up decor wise but take out is a way to go. The workers were all pleasant and accommodating when a large crowd of us entered on my first visit there with our out of town & country family all in the neighborhood for a funeral. I went back on a second occasion for more. The dishes I tried were the oxtail (expensive but you get a lot) and stew chicken which were both delish.

I went there on my lunch break. When you walk in the bell rings to notify them that someone came in. The lady was in the back of the kitchen. She never came of acknowledged that someone entered the restaurant. I said hellooo. The lady never responded. I know she heard me and never came to the front to service me. Looking in her cameras shaking her head. Not professional at all. I left my break is not that long.

My family and I are from NJ! The food and the service were AMAZING! Hands down best JA food spot I have experienced!! If I visit Pompano FL ever again this will be my first stop!!! Thank you for great authentic food!!

What a complete rip off....I wish I had walked away and not made the purchase. I got served day old oxtail at 7 PM on a Friday night for $26 and I was charged $8.31 for stale dried fried chicken.
3 pieces exactly cut up.
Completely unethical.
When I asked is this fresh and when I said the chicken looks a little dry throws in a couple of other pieces but yet charges me for it. And it was all dry and greasy......completely unethical.

Driven by the place a few times and finally got a chance to try them. Rice and peas on point and so was their steamed cabbage which we got as sides for all dinners so let's go to the entres. The jerk pork was bomb. Some of the best I've eaten. You get a great portion, flavorful, and the spiciness slowly creeps on you without being too overpowering. I was completely satisfied. My son & wife got the brown stew chicken which was also tasty and delicious. My other son got the curry chicken which he said was delicious. Had oxtail gravy with the rice and peas just really tasty. Best Jamaican food in Broward and one of the best in South Florida so far. Loved the food!

Normally I don't really leave reviews but I felt the need 2 do so.. I have came back 2 this spot since I moved from Florida like 2yrs ago & the food still is the same I even brought my wife in to try that oxtail & rice n pea's.. man that joint was so good I had 2 come back the next day before I headed back 2 end my trip in Miami.. if you ever can get here I promise it won't disappoint & they fruit drinks was good as well

Chris was very nice when it came to Customer Service, I am a contractor nearby and I eat their food pretty often. I am never disappointed.

Everyone does not eat spicy food the curry goat was so spicy that my mouth my tongue was burning for hours a very bad experience like who does that put the spice on the side I couldn't even enjoy my food had to throw it away never going back there
