A very friendly atmosphere and great authentic food! I’m a big Greek cuisine fan so every time I go to a new place I start with a gyro. Mine here was perfectly balanced and a homemade tzatziki sauce was amazing! Will definitely come back❤️

Got the gyro platter to go. Gyro meat super tender, fries golden brown, lightly dressed salad and perfect tzatziki sauce. The tzatziki sauce is house made and super thick. Owners are so much fun. I want to adopt them as my new favorite Aunt and Uncle. I also got the flaming cheese for there...hint don't order and sit outside when it is windy if you want the flame otherwise you will end up with drunken cheese, still wonderful (see video). Definitely will return.

First - I literally left my purse here after dining, and the waiter came RUNNING OUT to my car to give it to me. If that doesn’t say enough about the kind of place you are waking into.
Incredible food, great prices. Absolutely love the small authentic home cooked meal feel that you get when you come here. Everything is fresh, not over seasoned or overdone - just great Greek food at an authentic Greek restaurant near me or anyone close to Atlantic Blvd. I wish I took photos, but I was too busy enjoying how great it was! I highly recommend any of the gyros, they are well portioned and filling. The lemon potatoes are delicious and the hummus/pita is amazing too.

Absolutely loved this place! Christina and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We tried the gyros and burgers 🍔 both were amazing! Definitely don’t miss out on the homemade fries and the salad, which tasted like it came straight from the garden. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. If you’re in the area, The Gyro Joint is a must-visit!

The food was delicious and fresh. The humus was great. I have to say the owner was there and he was very nice, he shared his story of how it got started. He even gave me an oregano plant to take home.

We stopped in for a quick bite between meetings. I was pleasantly surprised that the different foods are prepared fresh and not preprepared. The manager was great and accommodating, but the star was the gyro, which I will be heading back the next time I am in the area to try the marinated chicken.

The absolute best gyro either my husband or myself have ever had. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The pita is so heavenly- perfect blend of soft, thick and strong pita. The tzaki sauce was so so good, we couldnt get enough. All in all really 'clean' tasting food; healthy eats. And that is just speaking on their food. The woman who took my order was so delightful, funny and authentic-the type of woman you wish was your mom or grandma. I enjoyed her spirit. Lastly they did not skimp on the portions. We had left over rice and salad. It was a hearty meal, but more importantly there was plenty of meat in our gyro. Enough for the pita sandwich and to add to your salad; or to save some 4 slivers for a snack later. Other places we are always wanting more of that gyro meat. Here we were satisfied and then some. Do yourself a favor. Order from The Gyro Joint. I promise you will be happy you did.
