They were waiting for him for 30 minutes to tell us we couldn't eat because we were a group of 5 and 1 baby. That wasn't the bad thing. It can't be anything. But the manager who is possibly called John Horowitz treated us. I'm calm with great arrogance, contempt and no kindness expected from someone who works in the service sector. They should put it in the kitchen and not in the public eye. We are frequent customers of other houstons and have never been treated like that. We're not coming back. Lousy management

It's been years since I dined at Houston's. It was my son's recommendation, and the food was delicious. I had the salmon, and my Sister had the crab cakes. My Son had a salad. The service was good.

Our waitress provided outstanding service. She was attentive, kind, and always had a smile on her face. Her positive attitude made our dining experience truly enjoyable, and we felt very well taken care of. Thank you Valeria .

Emmie, the bartender tonight was amazing! I appreciate her making my night better. The food was so good I ate it all and she made the drink, lemon drop martini, so yummy!! I will be back.

Lovely waterfront, high-end restaurant! Great from beginning to end! Hostess  Karyne, waitress MacKenzie both provided excellent service as well as the other servers, etc.  Parking was very convenient with self park and comp valet parking in the on-site parking  high.  I love pickles and liked the tasty pickle slices on the burger.  The bun was soft and good, as well.  The fries were warm and cooked well.  Nice surprise and something I learned is that they have little table "fly fans" to ward off the bugs.  We just happened to find this out from another patron as we were using our napkin, lol.  We asked for one and it appeared to keep the bugs at bay from our food.  Lunch time was not crowded which was nice but we've driven by and noticed that the dinner time gets quite crowded especially outside seating.  I'm sure we will do dinner at some time.  We would definitely bring special guests here for lunch. Oh, the Crush cocktail was good, per my husband.   It is expensive to eat here but as expected for such a nice restaurant.  Similar restaurants are in the same price point. It's definitely not our weekly kinda spot.  Lastly, the only downside is that I asked if they provide a comp dessert or drink for a birthday person's celebration and was disappointed to find out that they don't help celebrate a birthday.  I heard that they will bring a lit candle but you pay for the dessert.  It would be a very nice gesture if they at least provide a comp dessert to go with the candle. I heard that they also don't sing happy birthday... Our birthday is coming up soon so we now are on the hunt for a restaurant that helps us feel celebrated!

Excellent quality food. Big fan....but the waitress rushed us. More concern about turning the tables than giving their guest a great experience. Shame. Reflection on the manager how he runs his restaurant .

We came as a family last week whilst on vacation from the UK. I use to go to Boston Houstons when I worked in the US (before it closed) and was excited to introduce my family to Houstons. It did not disappoint. The evening was a dinner highlight of the holiday, the food was excellent as was the service. Special shout out to Alex who was wonderful and made sure that we were looked after and enjoyed our evening. Definitely will be back!

Enjoy a sunday lunch, the artichoke was smokey and full of taste, the ribs were cooked to perfection, service was good but could improve to pay more attention. A place to return and enjoy

Vacationing for the week. Decided on Houston’s on the waterway. Started with the jumbo shrimp appetizer. Will not be disappointed with the ribeye and spit rotisserie Chicken. Not cheap but great for that special occasion and relaxing atmosphere.

We had lunch with our daughter and grandson on the way to the airport. Great setting on the Intracoastal waterway where they have a huge patio. I ordered the Cheeseburger without the cheese. It is freshly ground chuck, served all the way on a dressed, house-made bun with lettuce, tomato, and chopped onion. Very good but messy. Comes with a choice of French fries, Cole slaw , or tabbouleh. Surprisingly I wanted steak sauce but they didn't have any.

Great food; poor service. Had to ask for butter with Artichoke's. After lengthy wait Artichoke's were almost finished. Drinks not all served together; unusual delay.

The description for the French Dip Au Jus on the menu is thinly sliced roasted prime rib. Rather than thinly sliced prime rib, the prime rib was SHREDDED! In addition the prime rib sandwiches were much smaller than usual. We have had the prime rib au jus many times at Houston's in Pompano as well as Hillstone on Park Avenue in New York City and thoroughly enjoyed them. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time.

If you have party of 5 or more, don’t bother coming. Restaurant only has 2 tables large enough. Plenty of tables for 4, but they refuse to add extra chair.

Houston’s is a great place for a quick bite. The place is always busy and it is absolutely impossible to get a table outside unless you make a reservation. The outdoor tables are next to the intracoastal waterways and it is extremely relaxing watching the boats go by…. The cocktails are refreshing….I recommend the Jack Rabbit. The corkage fee is minimal and we have been here before with a good bottle of wine. The food arrives very quickly so you need to space your orders (turn the tables ASAP). The menu is simple and has not changed over two years. For our appetizer we shared a Cabernet chili/chips. Was good but not a wow. We also shared a Caesar Salad. For our main course we had a cheeseburger with kale salad. The quality of food is great. Stays consistent. I also recommend the grilled artichokes which we had the last time we were here.
