No accommodations can be made for parties of 5 or more. Looking at the available booths inside, this makes sense - the only tables they have are small and cannot be extended. The outside area, however, has tables that could certainly be rearranged to accommodate parties of more than 4. Additionally, there were circular booths that looked as though they could seat 5 or 6.
I get it - sometimes the situation of a restaurant cannot accommodate your party. That said, it is unsatisfying to hear that no amount of waiting could mean that our party of 6 could dine together, outside or otherwise.
I would hope that some amount of feedback could lead to some flexibility in seating to share what seems like a pleasurable dining experience with a family.

If you want the total experience, Houstons is the best! The delicious food and excellent service will make you return again and again. Enjoy the beautiful Intercoastal view. Added bonus: Complementary Valet. I had the traditional salad and the huge burger and fries. Ask for Alexa. She is very attentive and friendly. Highly Recommend. A++++

Very bad attitude by hostess non professional inexperienced a non cooperative. We were a party of six could not would not accommodate at ALL. They wanted to split us 2 at a bar 2 at another table and 2 elsewhere absolutely ridiculous.nowhere on their website it says that. Many many more better places in lauderdale that are more appreciative of their clients. Definitely not these guys .!!

Iāve been to Houstonās in Pompano Beach several times and usually have great experiences, which is why this visit stood out in a disappointing way.
I went for lunch around 1 PM with my boyfriend. During the meal, I was visibly emotional and even crying at one point, but the waitress didnāt show much sensitivity ā she repeatedly offered dessert instead, which felt uncomfortable rather than supportive.
When I asked her to please box my leftovers, she simply dropped a box on the table without a word. In the past, servers at this location have always boxed the food for us, especially considering we are very generous tippers, so this felt dismissive.
I do want to highlight something positive: I accidentally left my phone behind, and another server ā a very kind young woman ā ran outside to return it to me. I truly appreciated that gesture.
Overall, I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Iāve enjoyed Houstonās before, but this particular service experience fell short of the standard Iāve come to expect.

Iāve been a regular customer at Houstonās for years. I have a dietary restriction and canāt eat bread, so I always order the beef dip without the bun. This has never been a problem before. Today I was told they would no longer serve it without the bun because they donāt like how it looks plated. The server confirmed this was a manager decision, and the manager repeated they would refuse to make it without bread. I wasnāt asking for substitutions ā just to leave off something I cannot eat. Itās unreasonable for a restaurant to dictate how a guest is allowed to order food, especially when dietary needs are involved. Refusing a simple omission is rude and ignorant. I will not be going back anymore.

Iāve never been treated like this at a restaurant. We were a normal group of six, planning to split into two tables, and we were refused service just because we arrived together in one vehicle. We tried to be flexible and offered solutionsādidnāt matter. Very disappointed.
Went there just for drinks. Sat outside because they have a beautiful view of the intercostal.it was chilly but the deck was heated. The staff were very nice and attentive. The drinks were meticulously prepared. Canāt wait to go back for dinner next time.
