We had a great experience at J. Mark’s in Pompano Beach. Our server Carmelo was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything all night. You can really tell when a restaurant has strong leadership, and Dani the manager was on the floor helping the staff and making sure guests were taken care of. That kind of teamwork makes a difference. It was refreshing to see servers helping one another and working together seamlessly. The service felt organized and genuinely welcoming. Overall, a fantastic experience. Big thanks to Carmelo and Dani for making it a great night.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this restaurant was the perfect choice to celebrate a birthday and enjoy an amazing dinner. From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile and escorted us to our table. Our waitress was delightful — she took our order promptly and kept checking in on us with a smile, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. We started with calamari, avocado egg rolls, and salads. Everything was so good that we found ourselves laughing at how quickly we finished it all! For our main courses, we ordered the Wagyu steak and lamb chops, both cooked perfectly medium rare, exactly as requested — absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the staff surprised us by coming out singing “Happy Birthday” with a cake, and it was delicious! It made the celebration even more special. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

We went to dinner last night and approached the counter to give our name to a very kind and polite young woman. It was clear she was trying to help the host even though she may not have been the host. Suddenly, the manager came over very aggressively and spoke down to her in front of everyone, telling her that someone else was ahead of us. She continued to reprimand her publicly.
Later, when the host arrived, she also addressed the same employee in front of guests, saying she should not be allowed to stay there. This entire situation was handled in a very unprofessional and humiliating way.
I felt truly sorry for the employee. No one deserves to be treated like that, regardless of their position. Management should lead with respect. How staff are treated says a lot about a business.
Not only was our food delicious and plentiful, our server, Lisa, was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again.
