Let me start by saying the food is amazing! We’ve been there a few times now and tried a lot of their menu items, all very tasty and good. The issue here is the service. The staff is very nice and friendly but their retention is awful, they don’t write down your order and so it comes out in bits and pieces. For example, ordered the hummus and pita appetizer, 2 slices of pizza as my entree and my husband got a meatball wrap. My pizza came out within 5 mins, the pita bread alone came out 10 mins after and the hummus 5 mins after the pita. Finally my husbands wrap came out 10 mins after the hummus. We asked for an extra pita bread and extra olives with the appetizer, received neither one. I like eating while is warm so having to wait that long for the rest kind of killed the experience. We’ve had the same experience every time. Last time was the last straw, not to mention the homeless lady peaking through the window directly behind me and chasing everyone who left the restaurant for money, kind of creepy. Other reviews are correct, waiters don’t come to the table often, we waited for our check a long time, asked for a to go box when she finally brought the check and just left after 10mins without it, she never came back to our table. To be fair they were extremely busy, but we’ve been there when is not and have similar issues. Bottom line, food is great, service is bad, pack your patience and order in stages if you want to enjoy your food properly but be ready to wait. I don’t think we’ll come back, after 4 times of the same I’m done.

This place is delicious! I ordered the gyro platter and a side of lemon potatoes. The tzatziki sauce was so so so good ? I can’t wait to go back and try more food! You definitely pay for what you get when it comes to this place!
Today my daughter and I ordered a pizza and a dessert over the phone, the price was $19 for the pizza and the lady on the front desk got the wrong order over the phone, she wanted to charge us $35 for the same pizza, the owner was very rude and disrespectful with my daughter, unprofessional and careless for his customers. I want yo leave my review so that everyone knows how poorly we were treated here.

Friday night I called to order a pizza Margherita and the lady on the front gave me the price of $19. I got there to pick up and they wanted to charge me $35, the price was completely wrong, I had to wait over 30 min to get the pizza. The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional, and tried to say it was my fault. End of story if want to have a good time and good service, do not come to this restaurant.

Service was awful -young guy that took care of us has the attention span of a house fly and he charged me extra for the mini container with the tzatziki -very stingy with the tzatziki. Also, the pizza guy dropped my sliced which fell on the counter facing down -he, then, proceeded to pick it up with his bare hands and dropped it on the paper plate. We ordered several items on the menu to try as many things as we could. Overall, the food was OK -with the exception of the Dolmades, everything else was just par. They do overcook their pizzas -maybe they should get a different pizza guy who has better hygiene standards and who doesn't overcook the pizzas.

This was my third time to Kosta’s this winter. First time I had a Greek salad and spanakopita. The spanakopita was delicious. Next time I had the sautéed octopus in a tomato sauce. The octopus was cooked perfectly. The Greek salad was standard and delicious. I have a hard time finding a wine that I like here, which is unfortunate, because I love to have wine with Greek food. The waiter was very kind and let me taste a few different types, but none really suited my taste. Third visit we had the octopus charbroiled with lemon and oil. I must say I have to come back and eat it again. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. They also give you a slice of cheese pizza if you ask. It was thin crust and tasty. I’ll definitely be back.
