Finally came here after years of living in South Florida. My boyfriend took us for our 1 year anniversary, we had such an amazing time, Chris was out waiter and he was so wonderful he really made the experience much more memorable, he had great suggestions and was very fun and friendly. The atmosphere was so beautiful and the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely have to try to the bolognese pasta and the cannolis, the filling is perfect. Highly recommended for a romantic night. May I just say la Aranda exceeded all of our expectations. We came in for a romantic dinner celebration for my wife’s birthday. I had pre-arranged, that a dozen roses be placed at our table. Not only did they accommodate me, but they also went as far to take Rose petals in the shape of a heart, creating the perfect atmosphere for the celebration. From the time we walked in and notified them who we were the hostess face united with a smile, and with excitement, knowing what he was about to unveil. My wife’s face beamed with joy when she had witnessed the extra effort to make her special day even more special. Chris immediately came over to introduce himself retrieve some water to take our drink order. He then came back, explained the specials how the chef does things a little differently, and how magnificent each dish was gave us plenty of time for our selections and upon receiving our meals, they did not disappoint. Every bite was filled with perfection. We never felt rushed, and when they live music started the atmosphere even became more romantic. There was also a birthday party going on in the rear room with a very large party, which was impressive to have so many different celebrations going on and yet feel like yours Was the most special. It seems like that is la veranda‘s specialty. Making everyone comfortable like they’re in their own living room and able to celebrate and share in love. I found out later that Giuseppe, who had purchased the restaurant years ago had changed it up a little bit making it what it is today. I am so impressed. I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant and our experience and this is our new go to place especially to celebrate. Thank you Chris for making our evening so special. We chose this place for our 5th year anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint!!! Such a romantic vibe. We sat outside and it was a bit humid but the atmosphere was worth it! Shout out to Kelly and Chris for an exceptional service! This place made our anniversary extra special and the food was delicious! The owner and staff are absolutely incredible. The food is amazing, all homemade and authentic Italian. We came in shortly before close when not many places were open and they could not have been more accommodating. They made us feel welcome and we had the best meal that we’ve had in pompano beach. If you have one dinner here make it at La Veranda. Ask for Rose as your server, she is wonderful.
