This was my second time here. The first time I was here, I was so impressed by the food and service…so much so, that we were eager to make our way back. Second time around; Christopher is the absolute BEST!! He was so attentive and kind during our time at La Veranda. The food was amazing and the service was over the top! Can’t wait to make my way back here again :)

La Veranda is a magical place. You step out of the parking lot and are transported through time and space to a small villa somewhere in the countryside of Italy. The ambiance is romantic, cozy, and dimly lit.
The staff are attentive and knowledgeable - they shared the specials and made wine pairing recommendations. The live music is fantastic; we were there when the owner (!) performed with Freddie, the pianist. Both were talented and made us feel right at home, striking up conversation in between sets.
I haven't even mentioned the food: We had the burrata salad, chicken parmesan, and the orecchiette pasta. Everything--and I mean everything--was fresh and delicious. The waiter shared that the mozzarella is made fresh the day-of.
I wish we had room for dessert, but I'm sure it's amazing, too. If it's a hot summer evening (as it was when we visited). I recommend sitting inside to enjoy the A/C and live music, and then moving outside to the beautiful courtyard to finish up the bottle of wine from dinner (our waiter's idea!).
I'm already dreaming of when we can come back here again!

First of what a great courtyard to walk through to get to the entrance. My wife and I would have loved to have eaten there but it was raining. However the inside of the restaurant did not disappoint. Great romantic ambience!
Chris was our server and was obviously an expert on authentic Italian. He explained everything perfectly and was very attentive.
Chef and owner Giovanni came out to personally greet us and inquire if we wanted one of our entrees in the original Italian but both were amazing. One can easily tell this is not American Italian but true authentic Italian.
I can’t wait to go back!

I recently visited La Veranda with my sister to celebrate our belated birthdays, and it was an incredible experience! The moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting ambience that made us feel right at home.
The food was outstanding—every dish was a delightful celebration of authentic Italian and sicilian flavors. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich sauces, it was clear that quality ingredients were used in every recipe. To our surprise, the owner sent over two amazing desserts and a round of drinks to help us celebrate, which added an extra special touch to our evening.
Service at La Veranda was top-notch. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, and the manager took the time to check in with us as well. It truly felt like they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.
One tip for future guests: if you plan on taking home leftovers (and you definitely will, given the generous portions), be sure to request a plastic container. The styrofoam can be a bit challenging to manage.
Overall, La Veranda is a fantastic dining destination that I highly recommend. Whether it’s a birthday celebration or just a lovely night out, you won’t be disappointed!
