Where do I even begin, this place is a hidden gem. The Veranda (outdoor patio space) has beautiful flowers all over and a super European feel to it. We came with a party of 6 and the weather was just perfect out there. From where we were sitting we could see the dining room and the loungey music area which were both packed. Our server did take a few minutes to get to the table but was very attentive throughout the night (thanks Igor!). The windows were open so it was like having a front row seat to the live music playing (very impressive trio up there!). The food took a while to come out but was worth the wait. I got the fiochetti di pera which was insane. All the pasta is homemade which was a really nice touch. We shared a few appetizers, the octopus, artichoke, and burrata (all delicious). Everyone’s main courses looked amazing and we’ll be coming back to try out the rest of the menu, for sure. Between the food and the live music it was definitely a night to remember. Thank you La Veranda staff.

In general overrated restaurant with far from the best service. We have been celebrating birthday and the manager was several times interrupted the toast by his ridiculous comments or questions. The lights in the back side are ultraviolet and it’s really inconvenient for eyes and unpleasant experience. Despite multiple request to turn them off or change it, nothing has changed.Foos was ok. Some dishes like eggplant parmigiana and caprese were very good, but pasta was amazingly disgusting with over salted white sauce , over peppered and very tough. Neither manager no waiter ever asked us about the food experience and despite they took back my full pasta plate they didn’t even try to apologize or ask what was wrong. The live music was ok, but pretty loud if you want to talk to your company. In general I would describe it as regular Italian restaurant with live music when you are around. Don’t choose it for any special occasions because you might be disappointed at the end

Super cute and romantic outdoor dining, the place is like an Italian house. We sat on the patio and loved it, I only went inside for a second but I liked the vibe outside much more. We had a dog and they were super welcoming about it and gave her water. The bread was 10/10, so much garlic. Good service, very friendly!

This place is a hidden gem in Pompano, I used to live right behind it and can’t believe I never went before. Finally decided to come for my anniversary and we had the best time. The server Chris was extremely friendly, great personality and gave us the rundown of how all the food is made and prepared fresh to order. We definitely could tell by how great everything tasted. One of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten out, even got to speak with the chef Giovanni who I can confirm is Italian af. They know what theyre doing here and we’ll 100% be coming back soon. It wasn’t too busy when we came but even on a Friday night I’ll gladly come for the live entertainment and wait what I have to wait for food this level of quality and care. Hard to find.

Waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes to even get a drink and appetizer. Our server helped everyone but me and boyfriend. Don’t know if it was because we were young or because of my apparent race. The people who were sat beside us got asked for their appetizer and drink as well as entree before us. We’d been seated for a while and we noticed the people who were seated 30 minutes after us were attended almost as soon as they were seated . We left after we ordered an aperal spritz and musselsThat arrived almost 30 minutes after . We left to lucky fish . 0/10.

I love authentic, quality Italian food. Being that I'm originally from New York it is hard to impress me, and south Florida Italian usually is below my standards. I took my wife out for dinner here and our Server, Christopher nocked it out of the park; the food takes a good amount of time to come out since it is made to order and he made sure we were taken care of and enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. I had the special, Filet pasta, 10 out of 10 amazing food and phenomenal service, we will definitely be back. - Ethan Russell

From the moment you walk in, they make you feel so welcome. The hosts say “welcome, friends!” They make pleasant small chat before helping you find your seats. The food was excellent and the homemade pasta was the best. They surprised us with a treat after dessert when they learned we were celebrating our anniversary. By far the most authentic Italian experience through the cuisine and culture.Parking: Parking lot is located behind the restaurant.
