Lucky Fish Beach Bar + Grill

Stopped by Lucky Fish in Pompano Beach for drinks on New Year’s Eve and had a disappointing experience. We arrived a little after 11:00 and by 11:45 we were told by our waitress that the manager decided they were done serving drinks for the night and everyone had to cash out, even though the restaurant was staying open until 1:00 AM.

On one of the busiest nights of the year, this felt poorly managed.

** Management has reached out to apologize for this experience and asked us to return to make it right. We appreciate their response.

Lucky Fish Pompano truly made our Florida vacation unforgettable!

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. But what really stood out was the honesty and kindness of the staff and management.

I want to give a very special thank you to Christian Toppino, one of the most honest and genuine people I’ve met while traveling. I accidentally lost my wallet, and Christian went above and beyond to find me on Facebook, contact me, and personally make sure my wallet was safely sent back to my home in Virginia. That level of integrity and care is rare and deeply appreciated.

Thank you to Christian Toppino, the manager, and the entire team for your incredible service, honesty, and hospitality. You didn’t just serve great food—you helped make lifelong memories from our vacation.

Is it hard to find good help these days? Ordered the Mariners platter the Mahi Mahi filet was absolutely inedible. I guessing the oil in the fryer wasn't hot enough it was greasy as he'll and has a mushy consistency. I told the waitress she said she would tell someone and thats where it ended. No offer to redo it no manager coming over nothing. I even mentioned it again when the bill came... other people in my parties food was fine. Guess I was the lucky one.

I really would like a food critic to try this food to see if I'm crazy
I hear everyone say very good
But , to me, no taste. Food usually not warm, seeing its prepared feet away
Seems to me they are trying to provide some tropical type food for tourist
Just do normal crap
Also they don't serve ham only some terrible bacon that more like beef jerky
The hash (potato) are simply cut potato with seasoning onion and pepper but are usually served cold again kitchen feet away
Yet a 4 plus stat rating

The food taste like nursing home food. I watch one guy cime out the kitchen with gloves on went to the restroom and came back outside with them same gloves and went back in the kitchen. Our waiter was very nice. But I will nit return back to this restaurant

You can't ask for anything more at this awesome ocean view bar and grill! We come here for breakfast quite frequently. The food is delish...the views to die for and the service by Megan D is exceptional. We purposely sit at her tables because she is awesome. Great personality and always visits the table!

Walked in of the beach and found this lovely gem. Huge central bar. Great staff. Good food. Prices are reasonable. We had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and the substituted the regular chips for corn chips to accommodate in my gluten free diet. It was loaded with tuna and abundant for sharing.
We went back last night. The live entertainment was very good.

Great overall vibes but overpriced. Not much help as a gluten free person.
