YAMU THAI JAPANESE RESTAURANT

I don’t know who thinks this is great. It’s at best mediocre. Nothing is home made. Very standard fare and hard to understand how they stay in. Business .

This is my second time back to Yamu. I had the Red Curry Chicken, spicy tuna roll, seaweed salad. It was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The sushi was fresh and perfect. I did take out and they were super nice. Offered a table and water while I waited. I just moved to the area. This will be my go to on my way back home. Highly recommend.

Don't review much, but the 4.9 rating I thought should be a 5. The folks there are truly wanting to make your time a wonderful experience. Their curry's are my favorite, plus the jb rolls are fresh and to profection. I have been to places that would charge double and to think I live close by...nice.

Small delightful dining experience with amazing food and service. The Tom yum soup had the most amazing broth base. The Sushi was fresh, light and literally melted in your mouth. We can’t wait to return to try more of their delicacies.

The food and service at Yamu is outstanding! It's a small place so there are not a lot of tables, but there were lots of people getting takeout in addition to those eating in the restaurant. The sushi rolls and stir fry were great, and the staff was very friendly and smiling the entire time.

First time and totally loved this warm, cozy, tasty, and absolutely delicious place! Nadiya and Matt took really good care of our whole family. Felt right at home. Will definitely come back and recommend to all of our friends! From Chicago with love!❤️

This was such a lovely small business experience. The food was amazing. In particular I would like to highlight their Crab Rangoons and the “First Lover Roll”(not pictured because it got eaten too fast lol). And the service was astounding. It’s a family business and everyone was so so kind. Truly felt welcomed :)

A cute, clean space with friendly and fast service. You can linger and dine slowly or you can speed in and get your meal lickety split! Family owned by great chefs and very nice servers! We’re fans of Nadia and Nad!
