The staff was great and our waiter was very funny but the food was not flavorful... too bad because they have a great location, great view of the ocean and good drinks.

1 1/2 hrs until appetizers appeared. Only 1 lamb chop for two in our group. When we questioned our server apologized and said they ran out and wouldn't be able to serve the two chops that everyone else got. $65 prix fix menu for Valentine's Day..... they were completely overwhelmed and unprepared, put a table cloth on the table so we don't recognize the room as breakfast at the Marriott. If you can't serve the entire meal discount the price appropriately. The server, Kate, was very nice and attentive every time she had to apologize for the wrongdoings in the kitchen.

Each course was not cleared before wait staff tried to put down the next course with absolutely no room on the table. Hope this new restaurant improves.
The outdoor dining was nice but right on top of the people at their pool. I would suggest this is fine for people staying at the hotel but not a great option if you want lunch on the ocean. There was no view of the ocean because they have it gated from the public beach with walks and bushes. Food and service were adequate. The price of a glass of wine was excessive. $21 for a glass of St Francis cab!

I found a hair in my overpriced red snapper, my wife's burger was medium rare, she asked for medium well. The drinks we had were terrible. All around I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone.

Cold food. My husband and son's pompano fish came out piping hot. Well, my plate must have sat under a heat lamp, waiting. Lukewarm filet on top of cold potatoes. No excuse when the restaurant was empty. And the restaurant being empty on a Saturday night should have told us something, if the locals don't eat there. Overpriced drinks in small glasses and a waiter that just didn't seem to be in a hurry. If we are ever staying down that way again, we will not return to this restaurant.

Although we didn't stay at the hotel, had lunch there... excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service... Thank you Craig for taking such good care of us and for all the great information on the fireworks and the history of the restaurant. Thinking of staying there next time just because of the restaurant.
