Nice menu selection for Valentine's Day. Oyster app course was outstanding. Unfortunately the remainder three courses were mediocre. Need tweaking with seasonings. Service was so-so. Each course was not cleared before wait staff tried to put down the next course with absolutely no room on the table. Hope this new restaurant improves.
The outdoor dining was nice but right on top of the people at their pool. I would suggest this is fine for people staying at the hotel but not a great option if you want lunch on the ocean. There was no view of the ocean because they have it gated from the public beach with walks and bushes. Food and service were adequate. The price of a glass of wine was excessive. $21 for a glass of St Francis cab!
Although we didn't stay at the hotel, had lunch there... excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent service... Thank you Craig for taking such good care of us and for all the great information on the fireworks and the history of the restaurant. Thinking of staying there next time just because of the restaurant.
