Was having a good time bartender seemed cool then at the end of the night was upset about a good tip and will never go to this bar again. I guess 22 dollars wasn't a good enough tip

That place although was a dump when it was the dugout is now way worse unless you like to wait for your drinks & make sure you order a beer or something simple like vodka & soda because not only do they have limited alcohol, the older bartenders that have been there for years don't know how to make anything else! They fired one bartender for driving business away, being to slow, messing up orders & couldn't learn the register yet they were desperate enough to bring her back! You're lucky if there's more than 5 people in that bar & they're all older men. No females rarely go in there. They have nothing for them to drink & if by chance they do, the bartender doesn't know how to make what you want! They hardly have any liquor that the owner buys from the liquor store & gets his beer from Publix/Walmart which is highly illegal but it's not as bad as how much cocaine runs in & out of there since Chi-town's been raided. Sad cause it used to be a fun bar over a year ago with live music on the weekends, karaoke on Tuesdays & open mic nights on Thursdays. They used to draw in younger crowds with women coming in. Now the only female in the bar is the bartender. The owner never comes around & thanks his patrons for coming in nor does he ever buy anyone in there drinks including his regulars. I also heard that when his wife & him are sitting at the bar drinking for hours he only tips his bartenders $5dr A good friend of mine used to work there & she was awesome! She knew how to make any drink you wanted even if there wasn't much to choose from she would come up with something tasty and fabulous. I'm so happy she's not there anymore I tried getting her to quit for months after she told me all the illegal stuff the owner & his wife were doing besides treating her poorly. I haven't been back to that bar since however the few people who do go there I know & they tell me how much worse that bar is now. You couldn't even give me free drinks to go back into that dirty establishment. They used to offer food however the cook depending on the day & mood he was in either made great food or horrible food. However I don't think they offer food anymore. My personal opinion is someone needs to shut that place down or find a buyer to redo the entire bar starting from scratch & turn it into a great neighborhood bar. Right now it's not the place I'd bring any of my friends or husband's friends to. The drinks are cheap but it's still not worth going there!! ATF or DEA will get them sooner than later I'm sure of it!

Went for karaoke 1st time. Johnny B had a great audio system for singers and is a fabulous host. Gina the bartender was wonderful and friendly. My friends all had a great time. Made new friends and we all danced together. Everyone just got along and enjoyed the evening. The manager, Jack, socialized with everyone and thanked us for being there. Will definitely return. Very comfortable and casual setting. ❤️

Excellent old school neighborhood locals bar. Great friendly customers and staff. We'll definitely visit again when in the Pompano area. If you're looking for a great hang out this is definitely just stop for you.

I didnt even know this place served food but saw a posting on Facebook. Ordered food to go tonight and it was great. Nice to have another choice in the neighborhood.
