Pier 6 Rooftop has so much potential to be a standout spot, but the service completely ruins the experience. The only bright spot in the entire staff was a man named Kel, who genuinely seemed to care. Unfortunately, the rest of the team—from the bartender to the servers—acted as if they couldn’t care less about the guests.
The bar closes at 10 PM, but at 9 PM, they sent a barback to our table to close out, essentially rushing us to leave. When we needed another drink, the staff was in the middle of a meeting with their manager and outright ignored us. To top it off, they turned the lights off at 9:40, making it clear we were no longer welcome.
What could have been a beautiful venue with great potential was overshadowed by atrocious service and a staff that seemed more focused on clocking out than creating a positive guest experience. I won’t be going back.

I absolutely love the rooftop bar at Pier 6! The team here is amazing. Ramsey is the best bartender and keeps me returning week after week! He always alerts me to the weekly events and specials at the bar! Joelle, the manager is always welcoming and acknowledges my presence with each visit. The team makes you feel welcome and you become part of their extended family! This bar is the best kept secret in Pompano with stunning views and wonderful sea breezes. I highly recommend a trip up to the Rooftop!
