I've bought food here at least 10 times and the food is always really really good, looks like home made food, not like junk restaurants.... and the price is good for the amount of food too! Easy 5 stars

I used to drive through after work a few times per week. The food has been pretty good in the past, but in the last 5 years it has gone WAY downhill. The place looks so dirty - trash all over the property. Customer service is non-existent. With 1 or 2 cars in the drive through it may still take 20+ minutes to get your order. The menu has changed for the worse (limited choices) and increased prices. This place suffers from poor hiring and lack of training, oversight and management. They need to take a page out of Chick-fil-A's playbook to better serve customers. We, as customers do not mind paying more for quality food and service in a clean environment.

Avoid this place! We we there based on a friend’s recommendation and menu looks great. Guy at counter took our order then while we’re waiting I check the receipt and several items that we ordered are missing, I get back in line to talk to the dude at the counter and he says “Oh we don’t have those right now”. He doesn’t tell us that when we ordered, he just ignored those items. The food turned out to to be not so great either so not sure we’ll try another one or not. But definitely avoid this one!

I really do not like reviewing franchisees, especially fast food, but I have been treated better at McDonald's. I waited in a slow drive thru lane for way to long. As I was the second in line to place my order I could hear the conversation between the customer and the employee. The customer had a noticable accent, but the employee was blatantly rude, showed no patience or attempt to understand the customer, and I believe at points mocking the customer. The order was completed. I waited patiently at the intercoms for the employee to get to me. Only to be told we are not able to take anymore drive thru order and please come inside. Nope not ever coming back to one of these again.

Whenever we visit Fort Lauderdale and Surrounding areas, we search out Pollo Tropical for a decent lunch at a good price. But on this night we were late getting back to the hotel from the beach so we stopped at 830 pm and there was a line that wrapped around the drive through and out into the the entry way of the drive through, we were about the 8th car back, so we though it'll take a little while but we like this place so we'll just be patient and wait our turn as we move through the line. After about 30 minutes of slow moving cars, we are down to be number 5 in line, the first person orders and moves ahead and then the next 3 cars pull up to order and drive off 2 seconds later, the next think i know people are yelling back at everyone else that "they are out of food" . I just pull up to order anyway, thinking people are trying to manipulate the line, i wait a few minutes and nobody acknowledges us, so we pull off. I can understand places running out of food, but they should had someone come outside and let people know after being in line for 30 ro 45 minutes that they were close to being out off food so we could make our way to another place. Big disappointment.
