Stopped at Pollo Tropical and had the churrasco with rice and beans plus a side of cheesy fried yucca. The food was really good — the churrasco was flavorful, the beans and rice hit the spot, and the yucca was crispy and cheesy in the best way. The only thing that stood out was the outside area, which could use more attention with cleaning. It doesn’t take away from how tasty the food is, but improving that would make the whole experience feel much better.

I'm so sorry to expose what was my favorite food, I can't speak badly of other branches but the Pompano Beach franchise on 2320 North Federal Hwy. served me an old and spoiled chicken. Last Sunday, July 27th, I ordered two family orders to eat in the restaurant and a whole chicken to go, I found the chicken to have an unpleasant taste, the other one that I took to eat later I put it in the refrigerator about 15 minutes after leaving the restaurant and the next day when I heated it up to eat it, my surprise was to find worms all over the chicken. Pollo Tropical has been my favorite food so far. It's best to check the chicken well before starting to eat it, unfortunately I did it after having tried it and tasting it bad. For proof, I can show the video that I still have on my cell phone if you ask for it.
