Working in the area and decided to grab a bite and after seeing the reviews I said let’s check this place out. We walked in and were immediately greeted by one of the gentleman working. We were able to meet the owner and he was a really nice man. Good sense of humor and he can COOK!!! There’s plenty of seating area and good variety of choices in the menu. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and the wife ordered the california chicken wrap. The bread was super fresh, the sauce was AMAZING and the portions are perfect. The owners son took some time to speak with us and sadly they are closing at the end of the year. The oatmeal cookies are the best I’ve even had. Everything is made fresh and nothing is frozen. We loved it and will definitely be back before they close. Excellent place to eat breakfast or lunch.

Let's start by saying I'm not disrespecting the food or cooks, by any means. The food is out of this world! However, to not allow people to bring their own WATER or any outside drink is absurd. I do not drink Zephyrhills and that's all they offered for water choices. I am trying to do better and make healthier choices but that wasn't an option, per the owner's daughter ( she made it very very clear that she would notify her dad in the back since I wanted to purchase their food and be allowed to drink my water). The attitude on her face and making my fiancé very uncomfortable was the last straw. I even mentioned if they'd make an exception for me, as I'm a veteran with various health issues and trying to do better but her response was " you can take the food to go then", and I kindly stated that it is very hot outside and would rather sit inside like a normal customer and she again threatened to bring her dad up front if I'd like...I proceeded take my water bottle to my car, return inside the store, to order food, purchase my fiancé her drink of choice, none for myself and tried my best to enjoy my meal. This was one of the worst customer experiences I ever had to endure and will definitely NOT be coming back. It's clear they do not care for veterans or people with disabilities, and by seeing how he responds to reviews, he does not care about your opinion either so think about that before you support a business that DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SERVICE MEMBERS OF THE UNITED STATES.
The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. The shorter dark haired guy at the counter helped me decide on a sandwich and couldn’t have been nicer. The tables were dirty as was the dining area. The trash bin was overflowing and the floor was badly in need of a mopping. The tables were also dirty. The sandwich was inedible. I tolerated only two small bites. The french fries were quite wonderful and I happily finished each one. The older man working in back spoke inappropriately to the male staff. It is an uncomfortable atmosphere. I feel sorry for the young man who helped me and the taller, also younger, African American guy who worked the register. I tipped them generously as the nasty food and inappropriate old guy certainly aren’t their fault. Plus, when I tipped them, I still had high hopes for the sandwich. I won’t return and will never recommend The Samich Shop. Dirty & Creepy are not a winning combination.
